I quite like your orthotypes, do you also use these to create 3D models, or are they purely for referance?

Nice update - I like the nurse, the daemon girl and the girl to the far right ~ (hidden under boxes).

    &

Dunno how amazing SAI is for normal paintings - I think its just that people used it for anime and didn't really consider it for anything else - the bleed system is good and the program is light - and once you need to do lines its easy (I just wish the smooth lines applied for the lasso tool as well).

I simply started to use it due to speed and being too lazy to learn Painter at the time - and being sick of photoshop being so bloated.

& I meant that I'm probably too twisted not too see all your clothing & attire as being transparent at first glance when I look at your work - and that I have to correct myself and think that its only for clarity and not for the final nude look.

Dig your sketch pages, I think they have your strongest work. The digital pieces are also coming along nicely!

Nice sketchbook you got there. Love the rendering ability you demonstrate.

On a note regarding your last C.O.W., I feel that it too closely resembles the source inspiration material (Mr Jack's representation of a starcraft overlord):
    Name: overlord.jpg
Views: 616
Size: 196.0 KB
I understand that the image was changed, but I just can't unsee the reference used. Perhaps incorporating a greater variety of reference materials could help that in the future.

Anyways, best of luck with your work

did you ever read Hard Boiled? Im not a comic fan particularly but that is a masterpiece, both for the darkly sardonic storyline and astonishing, eyebending geoff darrow art work.

Wow, strange you have really grown from your first post until now. Great deal of improvement with your painting abilities. I did like how you posted your process of painting your last chow, it helps alot of people out that are just getting started out in PS, and want to know how people do it.

I also like your sketches, and i'd like to see you take those sketches farther and perhaps scan them into PS and paint them! Would be cool, since you seem to sketch pretty good poses.

    Keep it up!

Lovely page of head sketches. I can just imagine a whole storybook filled with the exploits of a band of barbarians. A thing I've noticed is that you have no problem giving the male characters character (referring to the page in post 152 as well) than the female. Perhaps a few studies of older women might help out? Just tweaking a few things such as brow depth and breadth and the fattiness of the cheek can make a face look female, rather than immediately falling back on a younger face and smoother skin.

Great face/head studies! They all have such great character. The monster with the blue, shard, face, teeth, things is really slick too.
