    Hey there Wingal,

I like your texture ball there, I'd sharpen the highlights a bit, maybe use a hard brush? I used to have a pet turtle, their skin is really hard. When under a light it has a very glossy appearance to it, basically like leather boots almost.

Also when drawing animals, a cool thing to do is to break them down into three-dimensional shapes like Spheres etc. It allows you to understand the dimensions of the animal. Also makes it easier to see and comprehend the parts of their body you can't see in the photo, so you can draw them without reference in the future. I see you're already doing something like that here, but using mostly 2d shapes. Try using wrapping lines to really make those pictures pop up like springs. And really get into analyzing the animal in a three-dimensional space.

If you live near a zoo or an animal sanctuary of any sort, you have a pretty good leg up. If you can see these animals in life it'll really add more flavor to your animal drawings.

    Keep at it!

I must say, you managed to convey quite a bit of emotion in the tigers expression. Keep up with those studies!

    Great studies with the animals.

My only advice is to do more studies on the structure of the respected animals skeleton and anatomy (Muscle structures)

You have a lot of work in here. Mostly seem like volumes and shapes. How is your perspective? Can you draw a box above and below you believably in space? Also I like the animation sequence. One every week would be manageable I think for you.

As you say it is all about practice.
Do a lot of work and your work will be as good as your ambitions.

You'r animals are great! you have a good grasp of their form! with much likeness
    in their expressions

you'r coloring is great, but tends to be a-little bit flat at times.
I am no expert in this, but maybe u should try playing with colors more,
    adding complimentary colors and
