Thanks for dropping by my FB!
I really like your pencil studies, and I can relate to trying digital landscaping. I find it hard myself as well.. But keep up!![]()

I have joined a local Croquis drawing society. We draw once every week for 3 hours. This week our model had a mother earth like figure.
We only did 1/2 min. 2min. and 4 min. drawings.
The drawings in this post are all 1/2 min studies.

Thanks for stopping by my sketchbook ranunkel, really appreciate it.
Those are some hardcore skeleton studies, I myself probably won't go as far as going to a museum for my shot, but your results are great! Good stuff![]()

I really like your tidy, more abstract pencil works- a lot of love put into them and it's looking great; I also like the combination of traditional and digital!![]()

Last night was my second time to attend the Corquis Society's life drawing sessions. We had 1/2 min. and 2 min. poses and one 4 min. I find it hard to get the hole figure down on the paper when we do the short poses, but i guess it is practice practice and practice!
I copy and pasted all my poses into a collage. The 4 min pose is the on with the figure standing with one foot on a chair.

I started a digital sketch of a dragon dog. I am going to try to add more dragon feature to the drawing, like claws and scale on some parts of the body.

You should try to do some colourstudies and paint stuff from life.
Thanks for your comment Elophant!
The dragon dog is based on my dog Mickie. I often do small doodles of him, and this drawing is based on my doodles and a photo. All the figure drawings #66, 67,68 and 73 are life drawings. The microscope is also a life study of my dad's old microscope.
I like to do most of my sketches as monochrome drawings, to practice adding values to my drawings. The fairy is one of the few sketches I did in color. I mainly wanted to practice digital painting.

This is a sketch of my daughter's dog Balder. I am looking after him this week, so I used the chance to create a digital sketch of him.

Seascapes. I am studying the sea, waves and rocks to be able to draw a fantasy seascape.

Really digging the latest figure studies. Keep them coming!
Hi, I like your figure drawings. Thanks for stopping by my SB.
Doing great work!! Keep pushing those studies![]()
This is a study of Balder, I kind of turned him inside out LOL
I am going to do a painting of him as a dragon dog, so I need to compare a dog skeleton with the skeleton of a reptile of some sort so now I am of to hunt for a lizard.

Thank you very much for stopping by my SB. I'm really liking the dragon dog, it's so nicely done. Keep it up!
The first dragon sketch of Balder was turned down by the owner. She wants a full body portrait of the dragon dog. She also thought my first sketch of Balder looks too scary, and that the sketch makes him look more like a Chinese dragon than a European dragon, so I have to find a new way to do this fantasy portrait.
I think I will keep the bat wings, so I have done a small sketch of a flying dog bat. So fare I have only worked digital, but I think I will proceed to do some pencil and marker drawings soon.
I also did some small sketches of Balder's head to find different poses and face expressions.
To be able to pose Balder in different poses without a photo, I did some sketches of his skeleton to understand his anatomy. I will do more pose before I decide on how I am going to paint him. Perhaps the portrait should show Balder as a heroic dog in a dragon armour, guarding a princess.
