Hi, mi name is Anthony Jones I'm 15 and I have been drawing (barely, unfortunately) for about a year now. I decided to make a sketch book to motivate me to draw more often. helpful comments are MUCH APPRECIATED!

This is my first WIP done in photoshop. I have no digital or traditional painting experience so I'm still in the sucky stage and need lots of practice. Advice as always will be greatly appreciated!

Hey man, here's a quick bit of advice: draw alot. You're 15, so you can get a head start. Do anatomy studies. Do posemaniacs gestures. There's a thread with online links to helpful anatomy books, check it out. Also, draw from life and imagination using what you learned from the anatomy studies. that helps. I'm not much either, but I'm working. Also, you have to be willing to draw even when you don't want, or don't feel. And when you get discouraged, because you will, just keep going. You'll eventually make a break that'd boost your confidence enough to continue. Don't ever stop. Consistency is the key.
