    Hey drawfox!

Really interesing how you work and study.
Strange way doing the same thing over and over again, but it makes sense and will help you a lot!
Are all the faces from Loomis or do you have a site for face references?

Your website is looking good so far.
I don't know if Flash is that good, because it is recommend for looking your pictures.
Did you thought of a HMTL5 variante?
    This will be standart soon.
also fill your gallery with more pictures pls

    Greetings

JIEZHOU - my appologies jiezhou, have been busy with other things but i will be working hard today- expect a post this evening

Silwynar - thanks very much! and cheers for commenting! yeah all the faces are either from loomis or William Bouguereau they may look like completely different faces but thats just my errors in my drawing unfortunately heh but yeah eventually they should start looking more and more like what im meant to be drawing .

hmm no i didn't think of that, maybe in future i'll change it to html 5- i mainly did it through blogspot because people can follow/ more likely to be seen through search engines and there is no hosting cost where as if i bought my own site it would probably look better but cost about £5-6 pounds every month to host (a little short on money at mo) but definately in future i'll upgrade and check out html 5.

right back to work.. gotta catch up on the days i missed out
Any type of feedback is appreciated, cheers!

apologies for not doing any work for the last few weeks but this year i'm gonna work very hard- i've finished my head studies for now so from now on you will see a daily colour study- i realised that i hadn't actually managed to draw any of my own work because of all the practise so this year i want a healthy balance between the two and to be more productive on finished artwork, here is todays and yesterdays work.

I really like your portraits! If i could make one crit is that some of them look a bit to smooth, try experimenting with texture now! It'll be fun

    quick colour sketch

wow, i am truly appreciative of all the comments!! thank you so much! you guys are awesome. yep i'll try and mess about with texture in future
yeah i enjoy painting pale skin- in natural sunlight especially can be some real nice colours in the shadows and contrast.

here's my work from yesterday or what remained- had an epic bad day with my mac- crashed 4 times! so lost loaaads of work! it's never done that before, it was since i installed snow leopard so i've put leopard back on and it's all ok, big shame but oh well -

anyway, been playing about with colouring- and going back to having fun and throwing loads of colour range down heres a quick sketch

a long time ago i did this, and it was probably the most productive week i did for doing pictures, so i'm gonna do it again and offer up some free commissions because i really need to fill up my portfolio with more range and characters (terrible artist block at the mo), so send your requests and i'll get to it- probs want to do this till the end of jan i may go on if i like the ideas- a picture a day starts again!

ledgend. Make sure you don't get pinned into making artwork for someone, and then they go and sell it on a project mate....it's happened before!

can’t wait to see what response you get, and of course see the finished artwork!
