Hi. I didn't come here for years, so I present myself again.
I'm Félix Sintès, 25 yo, from France (so excuse my english). I'm comic drawer and writer, my first comic is to be released debut 2011 and I'm currently working on other projetcs.
My influences are french and belgian comics drawers, like Hergé, Franquin, Giraud, De Crécy, Sfar, japanese mangakas: Tezuka, Toriyama, Shirow, Matsumoto and Franck Miller and Mignola for the Americans... Also european painters, like Degas, Van Gogh, Kandinsky, Klee and all the German expressionnists.
Here is for my presentation ^^
I'm quite impressed to post here, when I see all so talented illustrators all around ! As I said, my speciality is comics (most for kids), so I'm looking for a simple and colored style. I'm currently trying to develop my skills for illustration, so maybe you'll have some encouragement or pieces of advice to give ^^
Here is some recent works, form my comic book:
And some personnal illustrations:
Lost in the Bubble Forest
Sherlock Holmes
On the wall: "Sherlock I left you. And I keep the dog."
Holmes: "Uh, the writing says that it's a woman."
Watson: "I think it's yours, Mr. Holmes. Well... What left from her."
Holmes: "Elementary, my dear Watson. Elementary..."
(sorry if I didn't translate well.)
