This year I made a slit-scanned portrait. I'm actually rendering out a video as well, but it's got a few hours to go. But I have to slip in while it's still "official".

I cant help but feeling like the prodigal son returning to these forums, I took me o moment to even find this thread, I could make excuses for why i don't post as often but it would just be another story,


If i were to lay out the calender of my recent memory i don't believe i could have selected a more difficult day to have chosen to draw a self-portrait, Life for an Android has been one full on tail spin of actions choices, consequences, and homeland security. My bed is collecting dust. my in box cannot receive new messages and the machine needs tokens. And yes im officially late.

I do suspect that because this is the last day o would have wanted to draw a portrait it also means that its may be one of the most appropriate times to spend a few hours looking into the cold mirror.

the last year feels like once continuous 4th dimensional blur of empty success after glorious failures one after the next. All in all I venture i Lost more than i gained , but i Gave more than i took. at least it went by quickly.


I want to acknowledge the effort that everyone took to take the time to sit an practice this special ego meditation ritual that we have developed here, there is allot of incredible heart and passion in this thread, it warms my circuits to see so many Old and few faces this year.

i heart felt thank you to Oblio for keeping the flame alive, I hope each of you found today a little more rewarding or at least interesting on behalf of your participation,

if i may be bold enough to anticipate questions this took approx 280 minutes, I kept most of the work in corel painter 12/11.

i went to make art at rally in Washington DC Saturday, i haven't slept since i returned so it still feels like the same day and the patriotism must have worn off on me but its already fading away.

Ill try and not be so much of a stranger here an perhaps you may see a post from be before November 1st 2011.
