What if all the artist of the earth will show themselves and their art in a single day?
Even if you are shy, join us in watching how portraits will start showing up as soon as the planet turns.
Australia is usually the first to post. Honolulu is ending the day - and you will feel how hours are passing trough each artist.
It will all be showing in the art.
i can't wait. i still search for the good idea.. for the right me.. and i know it will come only when I'll be seeing my mug in the mirror and i'll be thinking to the rest of you.

The assignment this week, (October 25, 2010) in TAD's "Digital Photography for Artists" is to do a "Conceptual Self-Portrait." I am looking forward to seeing some of the results!

The first conceptual self-portrait has been submitted that was assigned as part of TAD in the "Digital Photography for Artists" class. They are not posted in the regular homework threads, because they are being emailed directly to me personally so they are anonymous until being shown in class.

We want the students to see if they can figure out who the portraits are actually portraying. Some portraits may not have a head or face in them. The idea is a "conceptual" self-portrait, as opposed to a regular self-portrait.

We are trying to find out what you can show about someone without seeing there actual physical likeness and still be recognizable. The images do not need to go by this guideline, but the possibility is open for consideration. Let's get those brains working.

CARL KNOX was the first to complete the assignment.

The portraits will be shown in class, Friday, October 29, 2010.
