Ok some imaginary fan art today. I really liked the anime Rozen Maiden and this is one of their characters: Souseiseki.

What do you think so far? I am not sure what to do with the background. I was thinking of a tornado or something...

Updating with the most ugly sketches you have ever seen.
I found that I should learn more anatomy so I started with the basics.
I downloaded the book from Loomis about life drawing so I started "working through it". Here are some of those sketches.
There is some mathematics involved it seems!

First sketch is drawing a model, the other two are the stuff from Loomis's book and the last one are some imaginary things.

I just joined the study group and chose your sketchbook to crit, but I'm sticking it here just in case you don't see it.

I visited Sushy's sketchbook. I'd say her weakness is faces - to me they look a bit plastic and they lag behind her other abilities. I think it would really help her to do some studies of different parts of the faces - eyes, noses, mouth, whatnot - and to look at them more closely.

Her strength, though - painting, for sure, she's amazing at getting the colours and details down correctly. That coral is fantastic.

And more I'll add - on the second last attachment of your second last post, the bottom right, the girl leaning against something - she's wonderful, especially her hair and the expression on her face.

Am subscribing to this, I look forward to what else you put up!

So finally a new update, I am having some technical difficulties this week so here is something traditional. I joined a local drawing course and it was loads of fun

Hey there, Sushy. Nice start you have! ^^ Lovin' the diverse range of subjects you draw. Keep up the Loomis/etc studies!

Also, might I suggest you work on face studies particularly? Anyways, keep it up!

Another update today! I decided to do that facestudy in my daily diary project ^^

Did I mention I hate computers already? Today is the first day (installed windows 7 at wednesday) that it got completely stuck. The light of my wacom even went out (which never happens except now)!
So I am a computer science student... And I do not see what is wrong. *sigh* Another proof that I better become an artist instead of a programmer.

Just some Loomis studies and today's entry of my visual diary. (I lost my wallet today *sigh* so annoying when you have to travel with trains and stuff)

OK I am really sick today and I think it is going through my head as well. I could not sleep so I started drawing at 6:30 AM.
I drew a sheet of girls from a fashion magazine... because... I do not know. Sickness.

And here are also some photo studies I did. I am not so fond of them =/

The last one is just some... furry... thing... I did it with ballpoint pens (biro). I still love that material.
