Your still life still good) And a lot of made skatches)
HarbingerOfIllRepute okay that was... weird XD
this is what gets me going :V
Sickbrush Thanks sick *v*
Okay I should make my presentation ffFFFFuuu
Too much stress lately.
Next week should pass really quickly
Then all the stuff IS FINALLY OVER
@HarbingerOfIllRepute: That was... Dutch rap by mr Polska
Ok next week will be... decision week.
I want it to be over so bad .___.
emotions about next week:
and I should finish this :v
coming up with things to write here is getting harder.
This week's events make me paint differently.
Note to self: title of this one will be Fatum.
Kinda funny how your stuff changes back and forth from cutesy to disturbing XD
@triggerpigking: yeah that is strange indeed XD I guess I like both cute and disturbing stuff :>
I HAD MY GRADUATION PRESENTATION
AND I PASSED
almost dropped due to nerves, but according to the audience it went well :V
wondering when this is finished XD
So it has been a while. I started a new course for school, I am going to an art school now! And I picked up writing in Dutch again and started a blog about it here: http://klassiek.blogspot.nl/
Here are some photostudies I did:
and ink studies (which are also from photos)
I did make more work, which is all at my deviantART and such. Here is one of the highlights: a moustache fish vector!
I hope all these images are visible for you.
Strangely I cannot see the images of this page in Firefox. However in IE it works, so strange.
@Creusa: thank youuu
Yeah I made some ink studies from a book about russia hahaha
Update time, I have been busy with drawing comics lately.
Here are some scraps.
This is a part of a comic commission I am working on :V
Wowza Sush, whenever you focus on realism in those posts above, you're rocking it hard!
Keep doing what you're doing, your improvement is showing
@MatKaminski: Thanks, I really have to get some comic pages finished. so not much realism outside the photostudies. XD
So... Here are some bridgman and a photostudy
shot of the comic I am working on.
Must work faster arrrgh
Massive congrats Sushy, seems we both graduated this year.
Best of luck on your next endeavours! Going to art school now sounds like a big step that I'm somewhat envious of. Looking forward to seeing your progress.
Good studies, solid Bridgman work. Nice to see some varied work in there, from stylized to realistic. You could try to experiment a bit with your linework. Especially your shading is mostly crosshatching and parallel straight lines. As you'll notice from Bridgman, you can use organic and curved lines for the same purpose. Be flexible Nice going!
@Anthis: Thanks :> What did you graduate in? Yeah art school is awesome, though this one is a part-time art school since I cannot afford a full-time one. (je weet wel, langstudeerboete, instellingsgeld, duuuuur) Will try to vary those lines xD
Strangely enough I did not have much time to update lately xD
Anyway, here are some Bridgman studies:
Fancy Pikachu shot (from comic):
and another lizard study
Also, bring me some clients.
love your line work, it sure has evolved a lot, why are you some much into pikachu XD_
kevin_ Thanks :>
0000 I am not so much into pikachu, it was done for a client. xD
Okay, today I am way too much distracted but here are updates!
I should finish this.
The eternal question "Is it finished" continues...
Good work Sushy.
Great Bridgman studies, and photo study.
Those are some huge feet or paws, or whatever, and what's with that paper floating?
That piece of paper could look more dynamic.
Congratulation in getting in art school.
Flashback thanks xD Yeah I thought it would be cute to give her big paws (ok what was I thinking haha) ^^; That paper looks weird indeed, thanks for noticing :>
TODAY IS NOT A GREAT DAY
(dramatical fault in my tooth so I have to go to the dentist ASAP which sucks since I am afraid of dentists)
and I should find some freelance work.
So hire hire hire me.
Now here are some things from my sketchbook:
and then... a WIP
Some nice stuff here. Good to see you are regularly updating.
I'm liking the reptile studies. Used to have a Green Iguana who looked just like that (I called him JubJub).
Was a pretty cool pet!
Looking for Feedback! Please visit my sketchbook..
Kambei Shimada Thanks *v* yeah reptiles are really cool pets. I never had one, but I think it would be awesome.
Okay... Things went berserk after dentist, I barely could eat and now I have freaking stomach-ache because of that >_>
and a pixel thingy for client. It is not done yet.
I actually thought I would have more time to update this while freelancing but... apparently not XD
Does the art at the bottom of post #935 represent the disaster in Japan last march?
@Ohanzee: that picture has nothing to do with Japan at all XD It was made for a Digimon tournament. :>
So... Tomorrow it will be two years ago since I started this sketchbook.
I hope I improved at least a bit -_-
I can remember I joined here and was freaking scared that nobody would like my stuff haha
I joined because of algenpfleger's sketchbook xD
lines for a commission.
So that were two years of CA lol
Let's go for the next twoooo
Attempt at sketching the constructional way. 0_0
how does one even do that?
painted my little reptile plushie:
that was it :V
Love the face studies and the reptile plush study!
