Also, I do not do that much art. All those ballpoint pages you see here were done a week ago, when there was a gap between my updates.

And those are some awesome sketches indeed, that James Jean is a really good artist. Though I do not really like his.. "finished work". I totally dig those moleskines he did and all and those paintings... well I guess it is not my cup of tea. But his sketches are so good. 0__0

Updates... Well I am quite unproductive today, I got stuck on a photostudy. It looks so bad that it makes me sad (oh it rimes).
But of course I still have all those studies I did not show you yet so here they are.

Very nice studies here. I especially love that clothing study. It looks awesome. Your photo studies are also very nice and your color knowledge is getting better and better.

I do feel you could use some more work on your basic face features. (Not that I'm the one to say, my faces are horrible) The Shia labeouf images are a bit off, his forehead looks to small for his head, also the eyes are a bit off.

What? I recognised Sam_0468 in an instant, such a great guy. Anyways, your photostudies are looking great. For ballpoint try to emphasize more depth when portraing humans, often they are rather flat, I know these are pretty fast sketches but nevertheless. Keep up n cheers.

i like some of the color studies and the cloth studies. You're more hardworking and passion then me. keep up the good work and dun be demoralised. you are getting somewhere. But i must be frank, please do not be offended. i think you should limit your manga sketches to personal work and do realistic proportioned figure drawings and portraits when you are practicing. Ask any exp artist and they would tell us that manga drawings are an unhealth way to develop ur skills as u avoid practicing the proper way of constructing ur drawings esp figures. perhaps u can channel ur interest in drawing anime and manga to character design or full sketches depicting a few characters interacting, and focus on studying realistic figures when doing practice sketches where ur purpose is to improve.
