I thought I would update this with some school work. This is for painting class:

environment sketches from the school (with charcoal eeek!)
    Name: a2.jpg
Views: 482
Size: 115.6 KB

    traditional painting sketches
    Name: a1.jpg
Views: 481
Size: 171.3 KB

Completion of one of the sketches:
    Name: a4.jpg
Views: 480
Size: 199.8 KB

I am going to take the sketches and make them into something different. I started with these two:

    Name: Untitled-2.jpg
Views: 480
Size: 269.5 KBName: Untitled-1.jpg
Views: 481
Size: 178.0 KB

so yeah I really should finish some digital art too xD

Hey there. Probably you've heard it before, but I'd suggest more anatomy practice, like dynamic figure drawing. You know, because it's never enough of anatomy practice. Looking at your works I can imagine, that you rush in into details too soon, not outlining general composition and structure. I know that, because I did so myself for a long time. I see how you're doing some on paper, but it's digital anatomy practice I suggest. Just don't rush into drawing, spend some time analyzing form, how the muscles and bones create such complex, yet simple design as arms, legs or spine. Anyway, wish you luck and keep it up!

Seraph Fawkes digital anatomy practice? I have not heard that one yet. xD I will have to try it o.o I guess from ref first :V

Creusa Oh I hate sketching wirh charcoal, I would prefer the pencil then :3 They are often hard to find between all my ballpoint pens, which explains all the biro sketches xD

Gosh I should learn how to manage my time better.
I barely had time for personal work today :<

Moving on to the updates :V

Hey, Sushy, long time no see. I really like all the updates you've posted since I last commented on your SB page. From looking at most of your work though, I'd say to take a step back and start working diligently on perspective and basic form drawing. That, more than anything, would really help to add more volume and believability to your work and style.

@MrFrenik: Basic form drawing.. Is that like those cubes you have in your SB? Or do you mean the fundamentals? xD Oh yeah I have been neglecting perspective again 0_0 Thanks for reminding me. I should do something with it again!

    Okay
My right arm is starting to hurt again. How do professionals handle this man...
I mean, I want to be able to draw 24/7. :V

I guess Im late for reply but whatever. I work in food factory and construction work here and there.
Anyways, my hand never hurts after pencils, but sometimes after pen, I tried to lower tip feel to soft
but I cant get used to it. Also doing heavy work adds to the pain. What usually helps me are those
baoding balls. But dont take it as fact, it might have the opposite effect and you could injure your
tendons so ask professional for help and try to loose the grip and take regular breaks.
That was so lame to tell the obvious but you wont mind me.
    Ok keep up with drawings.

    Take care.

@Liberty: Yeah I have had this before. I got some practices from the physiotherapist and I will do those again, to relax my muscles. But oh gosh it will still hurt for a while (it takes a moment for these things to work). I feel so stupid for getting it this far. :< Nice to hear what you have been up to lately. I am freelancing nowadays, while attending to a parttime art school. Father is of course like, how are you going to make a living, what are you going to doooo are you going to move out etc etc
And I am like eeeeeueuuuh. I mean, I am in school again, I am still learning. Why does everything have to be settled when you are 23 -_-

would you look at that? Updates.....
Yeah my hand still hurts. I am thinking of learning to draw with left hand :<
Yeah I am trying to take more breaks.
but I am made for drawing.

    Anyway, client worrrrk:

Yesterday it was the judgment day (I have no idea how to translate it well) of my work.
    It went well ^o^

Now I hope my right arm will turn into unhurtable drawing machine :V

I did the left hand thing recently, try it out. Also you can learn a bit without drawing, you can
either observe light or colors, or even drawing aspects by comparing shapes around you.

And find yourself a man who will support you financially, so you can fulfill your dreams without
stress or hurry. Im mean that seriously.

oh Iiivii and Anna I missed you so much, I really should do a stream again QvQ

Liberty Oh you can actually learn more from left hand drawing? I cannot draw with my left hand. I always get so frustrated XD but I really should become ambidextrous or whatever it is called. I even thought about creating a sketchbook thread here where I would post drawings only done with my left hand haha (to motivate myself XD). Anyway, never did it. xD
And I had to laugh about your comment Isn't it funny? when I was younger I really thought emancipation was awesome and all. And now I just think like... Is this really improvement? I am not sure if I am even allowed to say this. People just dump their kids at day care and work their asses off and barely see their child anymore. Is this improvement? I do not get it. Anyway, I forgot what my point was.

    Creusa Oh anna

Okay, it was hard to be productive today. v_v

The anatomy stuff that you do is really quite good but
you don't really put a whole lot of it to use in your paintings.
Same goes for your perspective studies. After you've done a couple of studies
you should try to put what you've learned into a painting.
I always feel very accomplished when I first fail at something but
manage to succeed after whittling down what my weak spots are
    and study those.
    Keep up the good work!

@Xelar: You are so right man. I usually do not apply studies... Why? I guess it is laziness. I should do something about it. I just "jump in" when painting.

Okay I was actually going to update yesterday but then I was busy with client work.

n1frit спасибо, мой дорогой друг. I really appreciate the gift :> Я должна много по-русски изучать.

JiR thank you. There have been some issues here that made it hard to have fun though. xD I will keep drawing anyways.

Dang, so much stuff in here, I'm enjoying and admiring all the variety and work. Great job on the Santa and the latest photostudy. What is that room filled with? must be a crazy photo.

browntear It is filled with sand. I should have taken some time to make it look like sand but I did not xD

    An update. IS THIS REAL?
Well, I hope so. Usually I update more but I was a bit unmotivated lately.
I met a client from hell. Can you just believe that?

Anyway, I am getting back into the "game" again :V
