one a day
working on a celebrity dnd group
getting better I think. tried a different brush this time, I am indifferent about the results.
Another sp and some alchemy sketches
Another self portrait, and my entry for the current Cow. Gonna do some more face studies later today. I figure if I cant make my face look right with just linework, it wont look good when its polished. I have a lot of work to do. :|
self portrait for today. I watched vilppus videos on constructing the head yesterday and found them very helpful. Although I find that I keep making the lines a little off each time, making heads either to wide or to thin.
im pretty satisfied with this.
face studies and such
for today
Nice work, your sketches are good. As for crits I'd say work on your values / tones as that'll give you more depth in your images and stop them looking flat [like the problem you were having on the first page]. But saying that your values are getting better with the self portraits, so yeah you're on the right track working from life.
I know its a bit sketchy, but it got pretty late last night. It will have to do.
Gonna try doing some different expressions, change it up a bit. this one is actually close to what the lighting is like in my room
