Looks good. I think, even though its clearly not human, some human anatomy studies could make the character more convincing.
big dump of old stuff I'm probably gonna loose track of
The ocean floor is mainly made up of the igneous rock Basalt
The digital picture looks like a sketch for an idea. There are a lot of little things that could be fixed before you finish it, but as a sketch it looks like you are practicing with digital drawing. The more you do the better you get. If you want to know that I think is wrong I would say I can see the back arms are smaller but it's left armpit is a low in the back and it looks right to me, but the rear arm it too high to meet up with it. I think it should be behind the front arm more. The first finger is very different between the front left and right hands. The right looks more like an orangutan.
I like your creatures and characters, keep it up![]()
AChipps,
You're right in thinking its just a sketch, and that I'm practicing with digital drawing. I also agree with you that the back left arm looks to high to meet up with the armpit, but my intention was to have them high, I just didn't curve the armpit in the right way. It should be going more up than out. My thanks for the critique though.
In2eternity,
Thank you, I most definitely will![]()
You're eager to get into the conceptual stuff, which is great, but I think it would do you a lot of good to get more anatomy studies in there. Also, keep track of fashion and see how you can apply it to your characters. If you wanna be a concept artist then you should be doing 50% studies and 50% imagination.
Keep rockin dude!
I cant wait till Raj gets kicked off of hells kitchen

the latest envrios are a step in the right direction, but try not to allow outlines to draw down the realism of your mountains, go study some of these enviros, or do a few studies of some pictures to help you
and keep up the anatomy studies, and attempting to get more hard lines in your paintings
keep posting, you've improved in these few posts!
Nice concepts, but keep doing more anatomy studies.

crossroads demon
updated version of the crossroads demon. not sure where to take it from here other than polishing.
doing another sketch for my cousin, this time of a 'skin stalker'
basically the animated skin of someone who has been flayed. it gives its opponents a biiig hug.
I cant get it to look quite right. it has no skeleton, but every time I try to make it look flatter it just looks like a rug with a head on top. :/
just a dump of some of my sketchbook scans. more to come later.

Looks like your doing some anatomical studies, good. I'd like to see some more with shading with pencil.
