Yeah vodka is a nice clean drink.
but whatever you decide, be sure to listen to some ballads at an inconsiderate volume before you go to sleep (something like this), and then jump on to some message boards and try to communicate your seemingly newfound clarity of everything, immortalizing your temporary lapses of judgement. After-all, its not a real hangover without the incremental flashbacks and the inevitable pangs of regret.

If it's not already too late, I'd recommend a glass of water in between each glass of alcohol to ease the shock on your system and your stomach. You want to keep hydrated, or you'll wake up in the middle of the night with the worst stomach cramps, while needing to pee. - especially with wine!

I like Sake, Soju, wine, Strawberries soaked in vodka with chocolate pudding (don't know what they call this but I had it one time), various Daiquiri(s), Captain Morgan & coke, Long Island/Beach Iced Tea, etc. you could try those.
Not really sure...don't have my alcohol 'legs' yet. So I can't really recommend too much. All in all though, I don't drink too much, the feeling of being drunk just doesn't feel all that good to me.
