wow long time since I stopped by here, great studies I can see your leaning towards jaime and mullins, I think one thing to do if you haven't already is download the pdf file on craig mullins site goodbrush.com and read it over, how sargeant worked. and do like all of your studies in pencils, watercolors and oils. this will give your paintings the quality of a traditional work. anyways keep at it your developing into a fine artist.

nice work, watch out with some of those portraits though, their eyes look like they're too apart from each other, or maybe that's how your reference was, but in any case is always good to do a drawing clearly identifying the planes of the head

HOLY %@(*% it's been over a year since I've posted in my SB. I really appreciate all the comments you guys have given since. Anyway... Reason being that I haven't posted here? Two things.

Tablet broke. Couldn't afford new one.

Camera broke, couldn't afford new one.

    All at the same time.

So I just went all out traditional art really for the past year or so and had a lot of bumpy rides. It really, really sucked to be stuck in a vacuum relatively and unable to share what I was doing with anyone. I feel like it impeded my progress a lot.

Good news is, I saved up enough to buy a camera AND a tablet for the funz! Also because I'm making a portfolio to try and apply to art school -- looking for some merit aid hopefully from it since my GPA is horrid. And I'm poor.

Had a much rougher year and lots of bumps in the road, I wasn't as productive as when I first started this sketchbook. Things are gonna change. I'm going to try really, really hard to achieve my goal of becoming an illustrator.

Anyway, the camera blew out the values since its a cheap camera (all I could afford). Didn't have everything photographed but anyway I hope it's critiquable. Hope the stuff uploads right, new attachment uploader O_O. Will tweak if it doesn't upload. Just boring life drawing stuff mostly, all I managed to get so far.

I missed you guys. A lot. Every single one of you. I hope to get involved in the community again.
