I enjoy your work.
Nice illustration, love your style ;-)
Love your style. The wolf illustration is great. Has the feeling of being dark yet it's not overbearing about it. Kind of nice in a sick kind of wayLove the designs.
These are really nice illustrations, The Little Match Girl is wicked awesome!
Some great illustrations. Nice blend of painting and photo/texture use.

I love the style of your illustrations, it creates a real atmosphere ! =D
Awesome! The angular style in your "Goldilocks" piece makes it look incredibly edgy in keeping with the spooky theme. It's such a wonderful artwork and an excellent juxtaposition with the innocence of the original rhyme.
SERBIAN MYTHOLOGY - BANISHED DEMONSThese are the illustrations i did for the second tome of Serbian Mythology, ”Banished Demons”.
It has been a great experience and even greater privilege to work on a such a cool project with so many talented people.
The super talented artist that also did the illustrations for the book are Milos Vujanovic, Ivica Stevanovic, Dragan Bibin, and one of my biggest role models while growing up, Master Petar Meseldzija.
Milenko Bodirogic is the brilliant writer and the editor of the book, but mostly the person that made sure this project saw the light of day.
Mora (Nightmare)
Nightmares come during the night when people sleep. They creep through the slightly open windows, under the distorted doors, through the keyholes, and they come into the houses. Then they lean on to the sleeping man and press him until they take his breath away, and the unbearable (hard) strangling begins.
They do not kill, they just exhaust a man from night to night. The feelings of a man possessed by a nightmare can shortly be described in four words: buried in grave alive. That is the way how nightmares give the terrible experience of living death, during which the consciousness still exists, but only to be the panic witness of disability and helplessness of the mutilated body.
Those who are possessed by nightmares, lay in the grave every night. They are afraid of their own beds, as much as the mortals are afraid of the black soil.
Babice (Midwives)
A Midwife is a restless shadow of a woman who dies during her pregnancy or labor. She wonders around furiously and uncalm, always reconsidering and evaluating from all points of view, one and only thought: how did it happen that life had been taken away from her at the very moment when she was supposed to give the new life, when she had bonded to it, when she had fallen in love with it, still unborn?
Midwives are, as we have said, furious, and there’s no peace in fury. That is why they are revenging and venting their rage upon the most vulnerable, on those who are just the same as they used to be, exhausted by labor pain, by loosing blood and strength, on new mothers and the most unable, the weakest creatures in the world - upon babies.
Talason
Talason is a captured shadow whose measures are built in the basements of buildings, and that shadow is forced to live it’s life on as a ghost, guarding that building. Talason lives as long as the building lives. It can live along many human generations.
As for people the shell of the body is not important, while they are capturing the shadow, the Talasons are not interested in people, they are interested in their constructions. Originated from human contempt of life and living, Talasons, doomed by the act of creation, persist in it, the great contempt, not caring for human destinies and deeds, as long as they do not disturb the constructions they are guarding.
These are the rest of the illustrations. They only look complete when they are presented with text, so if you think they look empty or unfinished that's the reason

SERBIAN MYTHOLOGY - REBBELS (WITCHES AND VAMPIRES)
hey guys,
These are some of the illustrations i did for the third and final tome of the Serbian Mythology trilogy, called "Rebels - Witches and Vampires".
Once again it was a pleasure to work with a team of super talented artists Ivica Stevanovic, Dragan Bibin, Milos Vujanovic and my very dear friend Dusko Bjeljac.
Milenko Bodirogic is once again responsible for the the beautiful stories and descriptions of the creatures that are included in the book.
It has really been a awesome experience working on the two books of Serbian Mythology, and i really hope you guys like it.
Pravampir (Arch Vampire)
In ancient times, that letters do not remember, both of which have been preserved only in the debris gleanings repressed memories of the people, there was Arch Vampire, a kind of ancestor of what would later, in a playful relationship between the soul and body, become a Vampire. This ancestor was, as usual, in comparison with their offspring much later, quite underdeveloped phenomenon - it was just a body, a very unusual body.
Arch Vampires body collects life impersonal force, a force that makes all world alive: the Sun, Moon, Earth, stars, day and night, objects, things, plants, animals, people, their thoughts and their shadows. And this force does not allow him not disappear in death. During the day hidden in his grave, he comes out at night to feed on blood, because life feeds on life. Arch Vampire is the ultimate sign of monstrous beauty of life.
Trivun Kalaba Riding his Steed
When dark night covered the earth, the village and its inhabitants retired to their houses, Trivun saddled up his stallion. Christmas was coming, and under that little piece of moonlight was a bluish crisp snow shinning. Kalaba was riding slowly, he bridled up the stallion as if afraid of hurting the silence and serenity of the night.
He visited the crossroads, cemeteries, entered the forest, but soon forgetting why he was doing it. He followed the flight of the owls, listened to howling of wolves, and foxes barking in love ...

Lela and the Fox
Lela was seven years old, certainly not more, when that fox appeared. Beautiful, fawn and gold, and proud as it wasn't out of this world, it was like it came from a quiet, autumn fox kingdom.
It rolled around Lela, almost hiding her with the raised tail and it barked briefly, pointedly, as if laughing. Lela hugged the fox and crawled her fingers under the red fur and she barked also ...

these are the illustrations i did for the "Serbian Fairytales" book. The name of this fairy tale is "Peppercorn".
The story is about a boy that was born as small as the grain of pepper, but that didn't stop him to embark on an adventure that changed his life, and the lives of the people and creatures he met along the way.
