nroke my scanner a whiloe ago, but I feel like starting with some digital paint and stuff
used ref for torso, everything else is just getting a grip on very basics

Nice work! I'd say try to make the skin look more like skin in your digital paintings, it doesn't shine like that. Unless it's wet. Anyway, try to unify the form so it's being lit by one light source. Don't just put a light value somewhere because it's there. Really analyze all the tones, try to figure out why, not what. Nice mass shown in the skulls.

the latest paintings are looking great, make sure you're doing some stuff from imagination too, and attempt to push atleast one of your studies to a more complete state

You've got the makings of a really good sketchbook here... a good eye for things and plenty of improvement for just two pages. I'd definitely listen to Dope Fiend's advice though - you seem to be doing plenty of quick studies which you can learn alot from, but you can learn just as much from longer studies when you can focus in on detail and bring things to a polished finish; you learn different skills from both so it's best to get a good mix of both. Also, balance your studies with work from imagination - this forces you to remember and apply what you've been learning, really makes you realise how much has actually stuck.

Just keep trying a good balance of everything, and keep this momentum going! You've got alot of potential here

Moved into an apartment and school started back up.
But I have a scanner now, so that's good.
Some pages from the last sketchbook I filled up, which was two months ago, working on killing another one right now.
Looking back over the sketchbook I feel like I made no improvement, but I'm not sure.
Also, looks like I'm limited to 7 pictures per post, so there will be several more
