Good stuff people

voted Licorize, for being (I think) one of the only people to have the subject of light and actually having brightly lit things set against darker things to emphasize light. Good job on that Decent rendering, but there's some wonkiness happening with the face (did you flip the image?)

Linebo; wished you would have finished that, looks like it would have been really neat The expression and overall feel seems surreal, which is what magic is all about.

Forest; I have to laugh at this one, nice concept. I think it would have been all the more effective though to go the full horror route; not only would a darker background and theme make it feel more creepy, but the actual light coming from the bulbs would have been much better emphasized and would also lead to some nice rimlighting or cast shadows.

Edieee; really nice mood, good to see some nice atmospheric lighting in there. There are issues with anatomy though that could have fixed up with refs (or more closely following the refs you had) and more story elements as well, such as rotting bodies behind him, being being killed by being near him etc.

That would make it look better. I was trying to go for more of a, I guess you'd call it, ominous(?) horror. Where it's creepy because of how civilized it is all around. However, I do think I made it too bright.
