Lemur, your understanding of light and color physics is great, something I'm planning on working on this summer, and you have a great grasp of all of the elements of design. I would really like to see some life drawings or some traditional paintings of yours, shake things up, get some diversity in here. If I can figure out how to subscribe, i'll be doing that.
paintmybrain-thanks, I'm glad you like the fish!
Sprogis- thankya for the input! traditional stuff is on its way, thing is my camera kinda sucks and my scanner broke, but I think I can get some passable pics up on here.
Developing a procedure with line, was going for the Struzan look-

A lot of creative stuff. The seahorse is one of my favos, with that strange color texture in it. ^^ You have a nice feeling for the right colors and realistic light.
Wow, you are very good!
I also like the seahorse a lot, I think there's something to it.

"This is a paint and pixel-splattered furnace that forges the swords of artistic mastery. This is a place where swarthy and belligerent dwarves drink turpentine mead, berate their apprentices and slap the trade into their skulls. It's where the anvils are made of graphite, the hammers are as true as rectangular marquee selections and the fires burn with the light of a thousand lensflares." --Jason Rainville
Vaejoun,Tawnos, wooden mango-thankyou guys! might do more like the seahorse, and of course enviros (i need to improve my sketchup building skillzzz)
