Good hand studies, I need to do more of them myself. xD
Really liking how your painting seem to be shaping up, looks like your contrast and sharpness of colour and brush stroke are getting better, good stuff, the hand reference pitures youve got there are awesome, looks like your progressing well through them![]()

haha that last update is pretty mad, I like it. I would suggest doing a few more traditional studies in between all this imgainative stuff. Having said that, those hand studies are looking good, there is definite improvement there!

Nice SB you've got here. I like your traditional work. Your digital work is getting better too.
You're a bit like me, since I have an easier time of working in traditional mediums than in digital. One day, we'll get better than we are today.![]()
many thanks to you guys

haha like those little birds buddy -the top right one is very cute.
keep on working away, you are getting there! and remember to think about your line weight and width. How heavily you are pressing with the pencil and how broad the lines are. Always important!

the bird drawings are best out of your sketchbook imo... they carry a lot of personality and seem very loose and comfortable compared to some of your other drawings. Perhaps its because scribbled what you saw casually instead of really trying to get the contours right?
well, keep it up, you're moving along fine so far![]()
Hey bro
Some decent work going on here, for your hands try looking at something like Sycra's, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUbt1l4tBJg, for a while, and then go back to drawing them over and over like you have been doing.
Good luck with your next study.
Hey! Thanks for the sketchbook-visit! See that you got some work going on all the time which is EVERYTHING to getting better. So keep it up!
What I'd say would take you up a notch is for you to stop using smudge-tool when painting digitally, learn opacity and learn how to sample the colors you want right away. It's a pain in the ass and it takes time. But the finished result is worth the effort!
Favorite so far is your bird-sketches in post #99 I like the ostridge on the top-right corner
Have a good one and keep it up! Cheers

Hello. What's up?
I see that you have been real busy lately.
Good thing is that you are doing drawings
on all fields and you use different subjects,
you are not stucked as one sided, that is for
sure, but maybe you are a bit too ambicious.
Do not go into such advanced and complex
studies, as creating some mega-giga, hyper
monster freaks, cause I have the impression
that you lack of basic human anatomy knowledge
and some basic rendering skills. I see that
you are complaining above on not being able
to render that mutant goo shaped stuff on the
ground, well of course you cannot, at least not yet.
It is just not so simple to paint realistic things
like those are. You shold paint some basic referenced
subjects first, like rendering a ball, a rubber,
a plastic, a wooden, metal ball or box.
Learn rendering differnet materials, and maybe the
most important thing for now is, to use references
for your drawings. I am not saying that you should
never let your imagination go wild, but mix in more
referenced variations between those drawings from mind.
Do more life studies, and much other all day, regular
studies. Draw from posemaniacs some figures.
Try to find as much tutorials "out there" as on the
subject of digital painting as on pencil drawing.
Hope that the above suggestions will help you in
your future journey, or at least it will solve just
a small fragment of a giant puzzle in your long and
shiny quest.
Take care and keep posting.
many thanks to your support and comments guys
i've done some traditional work but my scan doesn't work i'll post them as soon as posible .

Hey bro
The colours are a bit bright! You may want to start with something simpler, like an apple so can start seeing colours from life, they aren't as saturated as you think for example.
Good luck with your next study. =)
thanks bro acually i try to explore a shape in the bright colours then put it in the different tone so don't warry i ask you help when i feel give up
thanks again my friend you are too helpful i wish the best to you

hey buddy, you are doing goood work. I would really recommend doing some studies from life, either in pencil or digital paint to really try and get a sense of realistic colour and lighting
good luck with it!

Hey Glotzan!
I really like the effort you are putting into your studies, this piece for example is really fantastic.. http://i986.photobucket.com/albums/a...1/scan0073.jpg
Take a look at some of these Sargent drawings, look at how he does his shading and maybe it will give you some ideas on how to improve.. http://images.google.com/images?hl=e...=&oq=&gs_rfai=
Keep well for now and have fun with your next study.
ya dude its great youre creating art nonstop, but plisken nailed it. When you don't have the information and visual library to back up an image its hard. I find it easier to study with a goal in mind. So do the preliminary work for an image you really want to create, then do some studies to build up to it.
Study study study!
Just have fun.

Hey Glotzan
The head is looking pretty good, just watch the top of his head, it's leaning slightly to the left too much imho. Good luck with your next study. =)
