most Ideal image sizes for sketchbook thread?

Hello CA,

this is actually a general question more than anything, but i couldnt think where else to post this. Sorry to any admins if this is in the wrong section.

I am wondering what the best sizes for posting images onto the forums would be? My sketchbook thread seems to be filled with "large" that seem to be too big, or"clunky" when loading.

I usually size my images at 600 or 700 pixels wide when I post--but I have a rather small screen.

You can also keep the same height and width and save the images at a lower quality to speed up the loading time.

I've been wondering the same thing. I've only just started and I can't upload my images because it keeps saying they're too big and this is at only 300 pixels high! I'm trying to upload as jpegs, is this the right file type to use?

Pantalaimon - save them at 42 dpi to reduce the file size.
