p.p.s. - holy crap, you've added a lot of pages to your sketchbook since I've been gone! I really need to catch up!!
xD Thanks I was in a constant study mode since that start of spring. I really like your posemaniac sketches! and of course your life drawings. Can't wait to see more!

    Hi sara.

Don't have much to say, cause it looks like you're well on your way and you know what you're doing. Just repaying a visit to my s'book. Nice to see that I write better than I draw, at least. ;P Really though, I'm glad it looks like I practice what I preach. I had kind of assumed I was case of the egg trying to teach the hen. But hey, a broken watch is still right 2 times a day, huh?

Anyway, not to talk all about me. I was about to chastise you for only having 2 pages in a year old sketchbook. But I read why, and I'm happy to see you back on the bandwagon. Hoping to see lots of wonderful stuff from you in the coming days/weeks/months whatever. See you around.

Edit: Oh, the avatar is from an old something awful comedy goldmine. It's the responsibility scallop!

I like your writing style, you must be an interesting person and a bit similar to me I saw you encouraged a newbie in CC, I tend to do such things myself, sometimes wondering if they feel the warm and fluffy feelings of mine... So I came.
Nice stuff this far, I like the more detailed, still deliciously stylized faces the most (The Rockwell study and the top guy from your 2011 stuff collection).

Oh my god, your Loomis studies make me feel embarrassed about mine. Your lines look really... effortless, I suppose is the word. Keep updating, I want to watch you.

    Thanks everyone!

Sin Eater: Thanks, yeah, you're right about the unfinished-ness - I guess I kinda cut myself off time wise since it was getting pretty late, and I wanted it to be a quick study (but it still ended up being my whole evening!)

Strato: Hah, thanks! I do need more pages, I'm so bad about just sitting down and scanning/resizing/uploading my work. well, the clam man is hilarious!

shiNIN: Thank you, and I do love surrounding myself with interesting people!

littlebones: haha, thanks, but I assure you they are far from effortless for me as well!!

Lightship69: thanks cap'n - I do need to keep up with my posting, I just dread the scanning and resizing so much! :'( btw, I'm gonna start doing some of those lit 3D shapes from your thread, that is such a good idea man

Here's some recent Loomis studies, sketches and doodles. I have these big pages of 30 second gesture drawings from posemaniacs as well, but I can't find my camera charger ... I think I have to get a new one >:-(

I just thought I'd drop by your sketchbook. You've posted some really nice studies in here and you seem to have really good control of your lines (better than the scribbly mess that I produce during a sketch!).

    You should really post more!

Ech, some more sketches - I need to update more often, I really dread these big scan days I get when I put this off. Quick little digital sketch at the bottom, really only worked on the face - from stock photo reference.

Hey everyone, thanks for all the comments, critique and support. I just want to say I haven't given up, I just started a new sketchbook - I find that I updated this one pretty sporadically and with a bunch of junk I didn't really need to post, so I'll be attempting a more consistent and focused style in my next sketch thread. Thank you again!

    My New Sketchbook!
