Cool man, quite like the skull on #23, its got quite a bit of movement to it. You used photoshop?
Quite like your hand studies to! However I've noticed in your imagined work youre not as confident with your hands. Try doing a quick study of how you want the hand to look on a different piece of paper first, when you get it right, just simplify it down onto the figure. Keep at it man!

thanks yeah I used Photoshop Cs3
And ah the hands, well pointed out actually, I just quickly seem to sketch the idea of hands subconciously without realising I'm not concentrating on fingers etc. must work on that.
    Thanks again!

    Thanks CarlSpringer
And no, keep at it, and you'll acheive it. I'll take a look at your sketchbook in a bit
But honestly, my quality in year 10 in laughable today. I sucked. It's normal. Just keep at it, try your hardest to improve, study works of others, practice alot. Have no doubts in your mind)...maybe something I also should be doing

-Just a sketchbook page with faces of a few friends (WorkInProgress).. I've yet to fill the whole page with faces until there's no white showing.
-Then... a very crap figure oil painting (Still work in progress I think... but I'd rather put it away and start a new.. not sure what I'll do yet)
-Then.. a Steve McCurry photo study (oils) [WIP]

Your pencil and pen work looks very good, also these oil paintings, but from the first page it looks like you should study colors more, for example photostudies and still life.

    Thank you CarlSpringer

Just some crappy doodles and posemaniacs (I started posemaniacs months ago but I see no real point of uploading all those, plus I've lost track of the dates etc, so I'll just start from recent ones..)
A few of the sketches were done from people on TV ... trying to improve my speed with poses for storyboarding

seeing as it's still his birthday (in my time zone) here's an MJ piece I did for my A level final exam (Mar-Apr 2010) - (A tad bleak for a birthday piece, I know) My oil skills have developed in a sense, and this was way before I practiced with a wider range of colours.

    Cha'mone.

Your traditional skills are really good, the digital will come along quickly once you get used to it. your sketches and studies look really good as well, keep up with them, they really help a lot.

Thank you The Original - I should be uploading more digitals soon

I just re-vamped the digital I did a while back, thought it looked cooler this way
and some oil studies I did a few days ago (each face took around 2 hours) - (the monk child's mouth is bothering me now I look at it, may finish that off tomorrow)

Well, it's been a while. Here's just some drawings I did during 3 life drawing sessions at my local university. Each session consists of a few 15minute sketches before a final 30minute sketch (I've uploaded them in order, so the last piece of each model is the 30minute one. I should've labelled it but it takes so long resizing and uploading images on here, I just can't be bothered!)
I'll hopefully upload more colour work by the weekend

    OmertA - thanks, you too!

Here's just some figure and portrait work. The centaur at the bottom is for my mythical creatures project for school... (only just noticed the tiny hands when I uploaded it onto my computer.. *sigh*)
(and yes, I made a snow sculpture xD)
