A ruthless pirate captured the science vessel of one of the most talented and respected scientists of his period, after whom the ship once was named. Based on the increasing number of oil spilling into the seas, he decided to alter the purpose of the ship, besides his base of operations, into an oil skimmer, to harvest the oil off the water surface and gain some additional money by selling it to the highest bidder.
