So here's something weird I found.
While my girl is using her mac book pro with the charge cable in, a light stroking to her skin with my knuckles or finger tips causes a vibration, enough of a vibration that it makes a sound. if we both touch the lap top of course the effect stops . it also stops the moment the charger is unplugged.

Though in all honesty I know what you're talking about with the vibrating skin thing. Happens when I'm on my laptop to and gf puts her hand on my shoulder to tell me something or whatever, it feels really weird.

Sounds to me like your girlfriend has super powers and should learn to channel it. Or, and this is also likely, that fuzzy vibration you feel when you stroke her hand could be love, and not from the computer at all. Do you feel any increased heart rate, sensitivity to touch, anxiety, and/or inability to be yourself? The buzz sound you hear might be your own mind racing.

It's not a tradition, and why the hell would it be? It's not something that was "born" on CA unlike
or Nibru.
It's an internet meme, and a pretty old and annoying one at that. The reason it's not catching on probably has something to do with either one of those two reasons.
