You are progressing nicely, my friend! Keep up those studies! And keep practicing people!
I love dropping in here to see the improvement. Keep it up.
Definitely an improvement here, I am surprised by your last color characters their quite solid and good. seems like you have a good color sense.
also those pencils are nice, I love pencils because they let you be more lose and you have more freedom and you can erase too
keep it up you beast.

thank you all for visiting my page
teapo in these portraits i also was faster.
Koh i will i will .
ryanoir right now i live in a dusty place and if i open my cintiq pack i am sure something will happen to it , i will use it when i got home .
PaintMyBrain hey man , i did some new stuff i am about to put them now and i must say i like despicable me animation characters so that's why i draw from that animation .
Brahimpag you haven't seen the best of me yet , you are a grate man .
Featheredface i will try my best as every one i think already know because i always say that .
Black Spot improvement is really based on practice just like you told me , you have helped a lot .
Danny_K my man , you are right these stuff was really fun , i will do more for sure .
PaintMyBrain you are Painting my brain .
Featheredface The Return of Godzilla .
teapo i will never give up , just for you to know ( "Thomas Edison failed more than 1,000 times when
trying to create the light bulb". (The story is often told as 5,000
or 10,000 times depending on the version.) When asked about it,
Edison allegedly said, "I have not failed 1,000 times. I have
successfully discovered 1,000 ways to NOT make a light bulb.").
Brahimpag farmer ... LOL
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
to all those who though why i have used mouse instead of my pen , i must say right now i live in a place witch is a little dusty , soon i hope i could go back to home so i could use my pen .
in this new updates i have draw some portraits with black pen on white paper and also one portrait drawing used color pencils , you also see some animal drawings as the same . i have decided to use color pencils in my traditional drawings also so i could release my potentials . i searched for best color pencils i got ( LYRA SKIN TONES 14 ) and ( FABER-CASTELL 48 Classic color pencils ) , i got these because they where not better ones in store and if there was anything better it was so expensive . i draw colored portrait with LYRA SKIN TONES 14 , as you can see its the skin sucks a bit and i dont know why , is this because i dont know how to use color pencils ? or the LYRA SKIN TONES 14 color pencils sucks ? i really dont know about color pencils so i think guidance could be nice at this point . for drawing animals i used FABER-CASTELL 48 Classic color pencils and as you can see the results was better but there i am sure there are a lot of things missing and that's why there are not so realistic .

great fucking update man![]()
keep working hard my bro
your improving good, and that's great!
but your works very flat and lacks structure, which everybody needs to make theyre work look 3 dimensional. if you think in 3 dimensional forms and apply it to your work you'll get a lot better
i'm not very good at explaining this sorry but yeah you should really work on that
your getting good, and your very persistent, good work buddy!
Nice improvement.
If I may have a request is that I want to see a smaller vesion of some of your drawings.
Diferent sizes give diferent inpresions.
Peace
Manuel
good update, keep it coming =)
and i agree with ryanoir, that it looks a bit flat.
i think you shouldnt try so to draw exactly what you see in the picture you reference, but try to understand more of how its structured and how the pieces is put together.
its hard to explain x) but just keep drawing!
It's probably time to start learning your anatomy and bringing it into your work. It works the same way for animals, they have shoulders and hips etc, just bent over differently with different length for some bones.
Hi raminafshari, thanks for visiting my sketchbook =) Your progress is good and you work very hard. I'm thinking maybe you don't do shading first because they take some time. You can use the time for shading to do more line drawings and anatomy studies. I think you should do line drawings more because your shading is good. All the best!
yay an update~ and thank you for sharing that quote by sir edison ^^" hmmm i must agree with pisces-- work more on your line and structure as your rendering skills seem to be far more developed than you base drawings. i too need to do that. but it is good that you are dipping into color in traditional media~
looking forward to the next udpate bro!

nice stuff man. you are def cranking along. studying the human form is fun and very frustrating. one of things a professor of mine taught us to do is practice bridgemens or hogarths at home for like an hour. then do figure drawing with a model and pose them in the same poses and then draw those. you start to see the "landmarks" those masters speak of.![]()
So a little love back.
One thing that helps me when i'm learning anatomy is not just copying it but copying it into shorthand you can remember and recal when you draw and foreshorten.
Here is a link to a great and easy perspective book. it'll help drawing still life and environments

Good Luck

Hello! I agree on the cross hatching. It takes some getting used to but makes a big difference. Nice work on your latest!
aloha ! first of all I second the improvement part.
I have just one smart-ass comment :
draw what you see not what you think you see...which means:
concerning the portraits there are a few issues that come from loose observation mainly perspective issues, it took me some time to understand what this sentence means but in the end its truly important to have that in mind
hope it will help you to get better !
so long

thank you all for visiting my page
Danny_K i sure do , after scan i used little burn tool to make it clear .
Brahimpag.
ryanoir its not that i dont know how to make it looks 3d but i feel when i am using pencils color what ever i do to make it 3d it looks flat at the end , most of pencils color drawings of mine looks flat . i think i need guidance in that .
Mister Dark i sent you them.
rumpenstiltzkin OK , i will remember that while practice .
Black Spot i think this post is answer for you itself .
pisces_painter yes you are right about line drawings ... i was busy with this post .
teapo alright, i am on it .
CrookedHorn i am sure you are correct , fallowing the steps of true masters is a key and i know that helps a lot but dont forget every one must also find him or her self style , feelings and ... along the way .
Cann0n_F0dd3r foreshorten is helpful , its a grate tool . i have one book witch is a lot the same , i must check it more and practice on that also .
Clean3d we must find our selves , our feelings , our ideas , style and ... in art not just drawing .
NicG i will do more crosshatching , carefully .
Partisan grate observation and draw exactly what i see , but i think i have more problems with these color pencils to draw , i think i need guidance .
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
these are human muscles studies , it took along time , because i really tried to understand them . i need to study them more and more . they are fun and helpful .

Thanks for stoping by my SB man, great progress since pg1.
keep up those studies and maybe try drawing from your head now and again to see what you've learned![]()
gr8 updates my friend , keep practising life drawing
Nice nice, keep it up dude, lol. Those legs looks really thin tho (lack of spaces, maybe?) maybe try and make it feel more 3d, same goes for the arms they seem really skinny and long.

I see alot of "petting lines", which usually means you're drawing from your wrist, not your entire arm. Drawing from your entire arm can help to improve line quality alot.
I agree with Diarum about the legs being skinny.
On most of the heads, the facial proportions are a off. Eyes shouldn't take up that much space, and in comparison to the noses drawn there, they look rather large. This is referring to the ones with all the facial features, not the muscle ones.
In general I would try to suggest you learn more on simplifying the figure into basic shapes first (likes cubes or into a Loomis skeleton) instead of focusing too much on muscles. Someone told me to do this awhile ago, but instead I ignored their advice, thinking I was too good. Now looking back I realize they were right.
Make sure when doing these studies you also apply what you learn, in anatomy for example: Draw over photographs where the muscles/bones should be, or draw the muscles/bones from memory, etc.
I hope you don't take this too harshly, all my intentions are good haha. Keep up the studies bro (and you've done a lot so far!)
You are truly improving by leaps and bounds! Great job, keep it up!!
