    Really nice stuff here. : - )

Just one crit i thought of about your last picture with the wolf.

I really like the colours and the way you handled the depth in the right side of the picture, but it seems kind of pointless. Whats going on in that portion?

About the silouhetted figure. Maybe you should consider not going so dark in that portion of the picture, as light would come into the tunnel, bounce of the walls and then at the figure. Im not saying to detail the interior of the silo, but just rais ethe value of that general portion of the picture.

Also, think of your composition perhaps. The right side is as of now sort of pointless and empty. It makes the image seem a bit off balance (imo of course). Personally, i would just crop it so that the wolf and the figure are somewhat on the "thirds" of the picture.

    Hi Goldie !

I think the prespective of the last piece is wrong. Maybe zoom a little out and make more light and shadows over the whole piece. The idea is good, but it looks a little "frozen". More light and shadow and a little bit a better perspective and its a very cool piece of work

    Keep it up bro!

    hey tassie ^^

thx for the tip with the perspective. i hadn't see it and i'll try to make it better.. :-)

so.. now i'll show you my first 3D-model i ever made. the software i used is blender. i love blender because it's free and you can find a lot tutorials on the web.

one thing i must say about this 3D-model: the nose isn't complete at all. i think i'll draw some textures on it. yes... yes... and what do you think?

um.... which picture do you mean?
if you speak about the marsupial lion, i must say, he has such a flat head... and the head looks bigger because of the perspectively contortion.

I'm a really big fan of your creatures But your humans could be improved a bit more, did you use reference for the last drawing?
I think some gesture studies or fast figure drawings would be a good addition to your work

Whohoooo, the big creature will rape the little creature
in #105 after it mangles her? I am so excited that I am
sweating in my leather chair without any towels beside me.
Last wolverine is a bit skinny, but you just give him some hard
stakes and he will get stronger, and watch out for his heartbeats.
You are amazing as always. Now...
it is time for an update.

I was browsing through your complete sketchbook and there are some interesting things.

I'm a bit curious about the portfolio you're doing. May I ask if it is for getting a job? I need to do one too in the future, so it's interesting what other people are doing.

Well, I'd like to say that your animaldrawings from life are very good! You totally should go on with them. Good lines and shapes there.
Your work from imagination (both animal and human) could need some more work on anatomy. Did you read or work with a book about constructive anatomy already? That could help you a lot develop more dynamic poses and use perspective. But the last animal illustration is a good step already. It's just that you sometimes miss the balance of the body. Wolverine is a good example for that. Just stand up and try if you can stand like that. I'm sure, you will move your back and head more forward, because otherwise the balance point is to far behind.

But here's much potential. You have the creativity to do good concepts and you make cool animals already! Just can define your technical skills more to express your mind even better

These are awesome! My only crit is that I think this piece would be a lot stronger compositionally if it was cropped - when I first saw it, it kind of struck me as two paintings crammed together, both in terms of style and color palette. Plus it makes the wolf (and approaching figure) the focal points of the piece.

    Bartimaeus Concept Art

Do you know these two charakters? Their names are Bartimaeus the "Dschinn" and his master Nathaniel (when he was 12 years old) from the trilogy "Bartimaeus".
I decided to do some concept art of some chraracters from these brilliant books to improve my digital painting skills. More characters will follow soon.

Oh, I almost forgot: My new FB-Page for sketches and artowrks: http://www.facebook.com/stephaniestutzart?fref=ts

    Thank you guys!
Here are new sketches of another character from Bartimaeus.
Her name's Kitty Jones and she's a very rebellious teenager, who fights against the ruling wizards of London.
