Back from Manchester, heres some stuff and an update on the personal piece, coming on slowly 1 week to go! gotta get some refs looks at those legs

great anatomy and value studies. Love the bracelet.

the barbarian painting, maybe think about another pose for the the girl? There´s no fear in her pose. the face maybe but not in the pose. She´s lying back like at a roman banket. intersting setting for sure thou. Frazetta comes to mind.

I really like some of the value studies, they have a good mixture of dark and light values. I would say, try and put that contrast of light and dark into your coloured work. Secondly, keep going with the life drawing. One of the issues people struggle to overcome is anatomy so never feel it's just you. Draw people in all sorts of poses, real life is the best reference because you get a real sense of how they move in and out of that pose. It'll also keep you on your toes and stop your brain from switching off :] Keep at it mate, these are looking good!

End of the month, i set myself to finish a piece a month so heres what i had after 30 days working on it (im sooo slow) but learnt alot. Next piece i gotta focus on my saturation, bigger brush strokes that are clean! and then the usual construction, anatomy etc.

also some doodles while im on the train on my tiny moleskine.













already got an idea for my next piece so back to studies.

I figured i better do a Deathline weigh in with my self, seen as though i always miss Dan and Dave's.

Soooo my first goal has been to network and get myself out there, feels like im getting there with that especially when it comes to streaming Last month i did it pretty much non stop unless i had to visit some family or something. Uploading to CA and Cghub has taken a back seat its turned into a more weekly thing now, gotta find some kind of balance and keep everything updated at the same time.

2nd goal was to become a proffesional artist by the end of the year, my steps towards this is pretty big for myself, gotta do a personal piece a month and finding the time to sit down for a couple of hours is getting harder as christmas comes, 1 piece down 11 to go.

Still havent got a 3rd goal and thats what im most dissapointed about, i can roll most of what i want from my freelance career into the 2nd goal hmmmmm gotta think!



Heyyyy Been in manchester again, heres some sketches i've been doing while away from the comp. They're all going towards a dragon/knight piece im working on in the background.
