For all students signing up to TAD we have something special to give. www.visualliteracyprogram.com is a 495.00 per year subscription art education program which contains nearly 40 instructional videos, in depth critique forums, and direct access to faculty from TAD and professionals around the world. Sign up for a class, and get the 45.00 USD per month fee waived for as long as you are in school. The videos alone are worth more than a thousand dollars. This is TAD's way of giving back to the artists who are joining us.



We want the best student body of any art school, and we have a very very talented 2010 freshmen class. TAD students have our full support.

The Visual Literacy Online Program is powered by the award winning faculty of The Illustration Academy, ConceptArt.org and TAD (The Art Department). The Illustration Academy has taken a unique approach to training professional illustrators of today as well as those looking to become the professionals of tomorrow.

The program is about professionals training professionals, and professionals exposing the real inner-workings of picture making and ideation to students of all ages. It's about real-world training that makes you a better picture maker and designer. This program will help you to develop your portfolio whether you are in school or a working professional. Whether you are just learning the basics of artistic endeavors, entering an Art and Design college, or pursuing a career as a professional, the Visual Literacy Program will help you be the best artist you can be.

Sign up for any or all of the classes and all the videos and the membership are yours to view and enjoy on the site. Want extra input? Post on the forums. It is as easy as that.

You can sign up for single classes by following the links in the class threads in this forum. You can also email scooterATtheartdepartment.org or thegatorATtheartdepartment.org and they can help you directly.

As far as the VLP...we are sending that email out now. Check your spam box. I will make sure that gets sent out again for those who are still signing up.
