such an awesome bunch of sketches .. like them all !!
Hey dude, thanks for commenting in my SB! I love the watercolor studies you have going on in here, especially the one in the your first post (the candlestick), and the tea pot in post #32 at the top of this page. I know glass can be a pain; have you tried using wine bottles? I find their distortions to be easier and more aesthetically pleasing due to the simple cylindrical form.
I think one area where you could improve in is your use of color, particularly in your skin tones. The forms and values look great, but they feel a desaturated, to the point where the skin looks a bit ashen. I would suggest trying to warm them up a tad with some lively peach hues and try to avoid going too grey, even in the shadowed areas.
Keep up the good work!
very good character design i like you the man in the bear skin . why dont you draw some background for them ?
Black Spot: Thanks. Yeah... I kinda threw that one together when there was little time left in class...
dierat: Thx Yeah. I feel my colors have taken a bit of a dive when I've started with the values first. Guess I need to work more on that
Raminsafari: Thanks. Yeah... Bgs are probably a good idea.
Some life studies from school. I tamed that wolverine myself.
