Like it when u upload the different steps of a piece - you see how it starts roughly
and than like puff - it is solid and pretty.
(Nothing new with this steps hehe but..it's cool )

Well it's been a while and figured I might as well post what I've done/been working on and so forth.
First couple are an arabian version of King Arthur and his incestuous son Mordred. The finished Poison Ivy/Batman piece after that. Followed with some more fanart from one of my favourite Ghibli flicks. And finally a wrap around book cover, a book called Shadow Empire. Crits/comments welcome as always. I was thinking of opening myself up for some commissions and have been looking around for pricing and some such. Any tips/advice people have for doing so would be much appreciated also. In any case, till next time all

very nice characters in the previous pages!

The last environment needs more value separation, is practicaly a collage of colors right now, very difficult to read. That being said i really like the atmosphere you are trying to depict. If you dont already, use a black layer on top of all and set it to saturation or color mode and use it to check how your designs looks in terms of black white and greys. Tonal composition is paramount for environments...i don't master the thing but i do know is extremely important.

    cheers.

Thanks for the tip. Yeah I used the black/white trick but I guess it does read pretty badly now that I look back on it. In any case, did another environment for the EOW 203. Was a cool one cause I haven't painted space before Name: EOW203_ssandulak.png

    More stuff!

Went a bit further as I liked painting space and felt the original was a bit too plain. Argh, the image size restrictions are killing me

Nice, adding many more asteroids had an effective turnout. The planet surface looks tight too.

Yeah I redid the planet for the most part, turned out pretty good. I'll have to put more planning into my next environment though Some thumbs or something beforehand, heh.
Also for those interested, I'm streaming daily, pretty much most of the day unless I'm working on something with an NDA. Check it out and shoot the shit.

Well not much I can show currently, but did do a concept portrait...dealy for a character of mine. Took it a bit over quick concept but you can't help when you get carried away sometimes
