    [WIP] Production document - Bombard

Hello all, we've gotten the school assignment to create a game design document of a medieval siege weapon with props and everything.
I have chosen to create a bombard and would like some feedback on what I have so far.

    Model sheet bombard:

when I was working on the mod, modelers told me just to do perspective view. Its kinda loosing time doing orthogonal projections this way. Concept artist are there to give ideas, and mood, modelers dont need precise drawings, but inspirative drawings.

Looks pretty good to me. You might want to include a human figure in there for scale. (Do the numbers in red indicate distance in centimeters?)

I must say, if I were a production modeler I'd prefer it if the concept artist gave me orthogonal drawings to work from. For something as straightforward as this, it might be overkill, but I've seen a lot of design sketches that were so ambiguous I don't see how anyone could translate them into 3D. Descriptiveness and clarity are good.

Thanks, yes the numbers in the red are the dimensions in centimeters.
I was planning on adding the human figure silhouette on the production sheet because I find it quite full already.

Created the gun powder keg as well:

Any tips on creating the characters that operate the bombard? I'm going to try to create peasants to operate the weapon. Also this is based to be in an eastern country in the area of China.

still a WIP, gonna add the front view on the left and the materials.
Might change the character to a more detailed one later on, the flag is also a placeholder.
Also still need to add the instructions

After having a day of the project and having a fresh look at the project I've made some changings into the design.

Looks fun. Add some rust and generally distress it at the end and you're set to go.
