Looking good! One thing I'd say about that character though is to off-kilter some parts a bit more in future. There's a lot of straight up and down bits (like his torso, upper arms and the part under his chin), it can make a character look a bit rigid. Also, his gear could do with being wrapped around a bit more at the sides to give it more depth, looks slightly flat in places. Just little things, really great progress overall. Looking forward to what you work on next

Thanks Vesh! I know what you are saying, im hoping to remedy that a bit in the data sheet (dong into body armour and the mechanical arm etc)

Yea agreed, its an issue that i was kinda aware of, there are a lot of horizontal and vertical lines in the design because of the webbing and gear, i tried to remedy it by over lapping things etc but im not sure i quite pulled it off haha. I think the one major issue is the characters waist/stomach area, il try and play around with it a lil

Really appreciate the crit man! x

Those are some nasty concepts mate, and your climbing
ability is so amazing. You are up and aboard with the winning team now,
I saw that project that you did in only one week, the game finished in one
week, it sounded impossible but you and your team did it. Most of us approve and like
your military oriented paintings and concepts, a future star in making is
what you are. Your two dee and three dee skills has evolved lately and got
to a whole new level. Going back a few pages in your book, I was totally
shocked seeing those magnificent mecha designs and renders, you are
a true master at that. I think that you need to keep on doing what you
were doing, just don’t give up. When you have some extra time, you
just mix in some more traditional pencil work,
the final outcome will be even stronger. Stay busy
and keep up with your artistic mayhem.

So now iv had a break, thought id break my self back in by coming back to my last piece before i jump into somet

That soldate is looking epic, but why
are you putting in the values one by one,
and which software do you use for that?

" I felt a lil disheartened when i didn't land a job after finishing university,"

You shouldn't have bee discouraged by not getting a job,
it's a world around story. Your qualities will be surely
respected and appreciated very soon, and those who
did not landed you a job will boil in their own oil,
banging their heads for not employing you.

@ PMJoe777k7, Thanks man, yea im enjoying my self haha

@ PMLtPlissken, Im using photoshop, and im blocking in the local values of each item before i properly begin the painting, im also blocking them in so that i can lock the layers and paint without constantly redoing edges etc, maybe not the quickest and intuitive approach but meh, i seem to approach things in a very organised and structured way haha. means i can do this shit....

--------and thank you! just means that i have to work my ass off and improve as much as possible, and sit in all day drawing, hard life ahh lmfao

Amazing linework on the soldier! I like the fact that what you called a "horrible sketch" on the last page evolved into this epitome of patience. The different values already help make the armor more readable at first glance but at some point, I suggest to make the weapon and hands stand out from the armor behind them by for example by painting a hint of fog between. I like the way you've already used line weight for this purpose but it's not quite enough IMO.

Keep at it, interesting to see the values shaping up!

@ Zidartha - Your patient enough now, honestly, i dont usualy do line work, infact i never do it haha, but i just persavered and got there in the end, push yourself and im sure you can do it!

Here is something iv been working on for a challenge me and my maytes are doing, the challenge was just to do a rendition of a predator (i love preds haha) and i was thinking how i might do it and i was thinking how i could make a pred more badass, and all the star wars news hit about it being sold. so my mind was like hmmmmmmm...

Preds are badass, siths are badass...

    so yea, Predator Sith Lord.

why hunt easy pray when you can hunt jedi and collect lightsaber crystals.

    STILL WIP.
