I like it because I'm not sure if it's a person in a bunny costume or a personified bunny who just happened to throw on some spandex. Either way, it's really cool

I like that tree. It manages to be both painterly and very graphic.

Superb work. I love seeing the difference between your more prepared work like "the crayfish woman tryes to get the healthy food tick of approval" and the more spontaneous like the rabbit.

the crayfish woman was really prepared a lot actually. i had made a lot of it in 3d during the sketch phase. probably almost more time in preparing than painting

oh wow, you are a really interesting painter! Your subject matter is as exciting as it is random. Makes me feel like I have no idea what you are going to post next, but I can rest assured that it will be interesting!

For some reason I am especially drawn to the skeleton and the rotting cow halfway through the beach and the living room.

Any chance you can tell me why you painted the cows on the beach?

I found the cow while jogging on the beach (Wainui Beach, New Zealand) after a winter storm a few years ago. 59 sperm whales became stranded at the same place in 1970 and are buried there in the dunes. So it's just another carcass found stranded in this area.
But, more than that, I really just liked the form of the beast, looked a bit like a cat, basking in the sun, i thought.
Anyway, it was a nice thing to paint. It was a bit sculptural, and as a figure study it was easy and interesting. It was large, with a nice suspended motion, and in a relatively minimalistic environment, it was definitely the attraction of the beach that morning. And even if you couldn't see it the smell would lead you there
    And thanks for the comment.
