An introduction

Hey everyone, My name is Tobias, I am brand new to this site. Just wanted to introduce myself. I couldn't find an introduction thread. So I figured I'll pick a straight forward subject.

I'm looking at getting some exposure and advice.
My goals are to break into the Comic book industry and Concept design for films. I'm also thinking about starting a T-shirt line, since a friend of mine already has all the equipment necessary to get started.
I specialize mostly in line art.
I started learning photoshop on my own for the last 6 months, mostly for coloring purposes.
I'm also interested in getting a cintiq tablet, so if anyone has any advice on any of these subjects, I welcome it greatly.

Welcome. here is my two cents. If you want to make a career of comics or concept art I would suggest some life drawing classes where you can learn to draw the figure correctly. It is important to be accurate first before you start to stylize things. Not evey client will want the amount of stylization you do for the job.
