@Samajn- sure mate i will check it out. thanks for dropping by .

@cloudcan- haha thanks man. i really want to do more stuff from imagination. but i really get frustrated when i dont get the anatomy. so i am trying to understand anatomy better. i am finding it a little frustrating to balance between both studies and imagination . :|. i wish i learn fast then get into drawing more finished stuff. but i guess i gotta learn to balance both sides. i ll try to do more. thank you for the kind words .

@Gthm/death- thank you and yes she is cute. thats why i drew

qlotzan- thank you. i dont really know but i would like to be a concept artist and a sculptor.i cant see myself doing anything else other than doing art .

Ztak- thanks a lot .yeah vilpu is a lot of help but i am just too impatient to look at videos and wait so i prefer books. XD but i will check out vilpu more. and yes more will come XD haha.

some studies i did. also i tried to polish the portrait a little. Dont feel like working on that anymore. damnit i gotta learn so much more.

Try avoiding at first the use of color when doing digital work, especially because its really hard to focus on both hue and value at the same time. Make your paintings readable in black and white, then you can play around with color layers or color mode brushes. Your inks and ball point drawings, especially the portraits are very coll. It`s clear you have the right attitude and balls to succeed. Keep it up!

Its better you let go and start a new one... sometimes we just end up trying to fix mistakes and then it gets redundant. I am sure now you have better understanding and the next one will turn out better in result as well as workflow wise.

Liking your studies as usual. Especially the small notes that you sometimes put next to it. especially the bunny

Keep drawing. Its kind of good to see progress on your side, we kinda have this healthy competition going on without realizing i think

@Darjan Jurincic- thanks a lot. that made my day XD. haha. and yah i am gonna concentrate on refining my painting skills before i jump into coloring directly. i have no idea about color schemes and stuff. anywho, thanks a lot for dropping by .
@fenixx- ya i will try not to over do and spend too much time on a single sketch. haha ya when i made that bunny i could not resist not writing that . and yah.. its a good thing.. it's making me draw more and regularly.. not to mention uploading it here. this is kind of fun.
@shashankk, kungfoowiz ,zikes- thanks guys. i shall keep it up XD

well i was trying to work on my own comic project sometime ago. but i could not go further with it due to other works. these are some character rough concepts that i had in mind. now that i have more time may be i can try doing this .
also a very fast pen portrait study XD..kinda messed up.

Loving the characters man! About that portrait painting..i think it's great but it's always the lil details on faces that make the difference like your nose is just a lil bit too long and the shape of the jawline is fatter and the inner angle of the eyepits and brow line is steeper than is shud compared to the original what helps a lot is when you are doing the final touches just flicker your eyes rlly fast between the reference and your piece and you see what you can fix

anyhow and another thing i can see that when you are using a ball point pen it tends to catch the surface fibers inside of the ball and the ink start to glut up. So try to clean up the tip often as possible i just roll it on my left hand it also depends a lot what kinda ball point pen you are using and on what paper

PHEW! Long message in the "morning" haha anyhow i loved the lizard/dragon sketch with watercolours do some more of those!

These are some nice updates. I especially like the cartoony character roughs; the boy in red catches my eye.

This piece works especially well, I think. The way you've brought red and blue together, alongwith the static and dynamic pose, it works really well. Also, the expressions are some of the best in this sketchbook.

In this portrait, though, I see a lot of blotting on the face. I'm guessing you're using a ballpoint pen. Just make sure you wipe the nib a lot; it should be fine.

@ztak- haha now that i see it it looks horribly different from the reference. haha when i am drawing something for too long i somehow not able to say the differences or mistakes that much. i ll try checking all the details next time. I badly want to make a portrait which actually looks like reference for once oh well i guess i need more practice. about the pen portrait, yah i ll try doing that.. those blotty pieces are really annoying. anywho thanks a lot for dropping by .

@vritra- thanks for dropping by man. yah i ll try doing that .

not really an update. I was trying to experiment with water colors and pencil colors. i really need to get a hang of it. these are done in a rush. i should have spent more time on them but oh well i just wanted to get into colors so fast that i dint care about the messy line art. even the coloring part i rushed . oh well.

Thans for dropping by my SB.
    You're doing good stuff here.
Just remeber to draw your creatures and things from perspective and different angles aswell to get a good sense of form and depth.

Magnificent pieces, that is such a great way
you are handling the anatomy and your
    stylized faces/figures are done wonderfully.
I will just steal a few references from here,
I hope you don't mind. Keep sharing your love.

    @fenixx- thanks

@rotor- thank you for dropping by. yeah i keep skipping the tough parts by doing easier side poses haha . i ll keep that in mind next time. thanks

@LtPlissken- thanks a lot man. and sure go right ahead use whatever you need to .

been lacking with updates. i was slacking of . this one is not really much of an update. just a portrait practice. I did it faster than the last digital portrait but still i did take too long for this. i should get faster. the final finishing is a pain where i dont really know where to stop. whenever i see the picture i find more flaws and keep correcting them. so i finally decided to stop it at this point. otherwise it will keep going on forever. :|
I kind of tried flickering my eyes very fast through reference and my drawing to figure out the mistakes. i got to say this process is really helpful. though i dint exactly got all the similarities but still its a start. thanks ztak for the advice .

Lovely dude just lovely! I like the way you are using color!Yeah i need to practice some reference drawing...i haven't rlly used a reference for anything since i was a kid...i think it has rlly held me back heaps...since i have to imagine all the forms...and not take it from a real life reference bank...so i decided that i NEED to start drawing from reference and that's what i'm gonna do ^^hopefully that will get me a lil bit further on my way to greatness Anywhay-hay i will stay tuned for more updates from ya!

Here is a landscape study and a fan art of roronoa zoro from one piece. One of the most epic character ever created.

I tried to make it realistic. This is my first time coloring so kind of came out bad. I need to understand how colors change and what is the difference in skin tones and darker shadows on skintones. Sometime when i put darker value from some parts look weird . Anyways this took me around 8 hours. The scene is where zoro goes into the pain bubble created by kuma to protect lufy. This scene gave me goosebumps.

Some studies along with some dragon and dino heads from imagination. I chose one of the head and though of taking it further and painting it. The aim was to learn how use textures on the image. Took me around 10 hours in 3 days on and off. No reference taken so went wild with the design. I dont like how the neck turned out. It looks stiff and uninteresting. I will try more dynamic sketching next time. I did learn a lot through this painting. But i still have a long way to go in painting. Need to get better and faster. Oh well . critics are more than welcome XD. shoot me.
