Dude, Jeff. Post #355, and drawings 5 and 6, Look like they could be super Villians![]()
Thanks JoshDArtist, I find that I tend to stick to comfortable colours, at least when I am doing traditional painting.
Brian: Thanks for stopping in again, those two were just some random dudes in the food court at metrotown. Although they were very unique, so i remember actually being there and drawing them. #6 was hilarious, I had a hard time drawing that guy and not laughing instead.
Hey man,
Don't get caught in a sticky situation with no arms..
Diggen your bots man. Love your website too. Keep in touch!
Mr.Scribbles: Thank you, much appreciated!

Hey thanks for dropping in. For me, Landscapes are a much more abstract approach. I tend to just start with chaotic shapes and carve something out of it. Refine, flip, distort, bend, etc. Until I see something that sparks my imagination. As for the robots and more technical things: its more of a planned approach. Usually ill have an idea of a camera angle in my head, then lay down some guidelines, draw some bounding-box type shapes. Then I'll refine from a shape that looks appealing. Usually Ill have 4-5 guidelines and bounding box drawings before I come up with one that looks appealing to me and warrants more refinement.
here's something I drew last night, scanned in, and then painted on my new samsung slate.
This tablet is boss.

Yo Lion, thanks for dropping in again.
I was thinking of doing some more videos. If you go back a page or two I posted one 30 min long video that shows what I was talking about before.
Using chaos to create something.
Maybe ill make more vids in the future, some with commentary or something. Who knows.. things are extremely busy with work and all that crap D:
perhaps over the holiday break.
Keep in touch.
