How big is that plate you're working on? It looks HYUUGE!
Are doing multiple prints layered on top of each other to get all of the different colors? It looks like it, but then again, I've never done multiple prints.
IMO, anatomy usually gets buggered. There are a lot of other good qualities like the textural variations and the color that will make that a sweeeet piece when it's done.![]()
Cuuuute :3
Everyone is slacking lately, but you are not.
Oh no, you are definitely not. You are working
day and night overtime. And you are one of the
few people who are doing all the mediums here.
You are doing pencil, watercolor, oil, colored pencils,
digitals and I am not sure what else, you are just so
amazing. When you decide to do the Holy Matrimony,
you have my number. You just call me.
mary-cherry-me: Oh hey, cheers mate. I've started to work into them with inks, not used to ink but they're quite fun to work with.
Lav: Oh man, I hate drawing feet myself! Well, I actually like drawing feet, just not the outcome. I'll try to get into the habits of practicing them though, seems like working on hands is finally starting to help me too.
Kendall : Och, mate. We'll have t' see won't we? I'm looking forward to 40, personally. Maybe 55.Got t' keep workin' for it till then and a way while after to be sure.
lemming-clone- Oh godddd, the tutor gave me a massive one, like the length of my arm. Think it's like a thin A1, something like that. Etching the whole thing wasn't actually that hard though, which was a pleasant surprise.
Featheredface: That comment made me laugh because I can only see pictures of mummies over this page.IS SOMETHING CUTE BURIED WITHIN THESE MONSTROSITIES?
Plissken: Never actually used oils in me life, you know? I'd like to though. So far I've been using collage, water colours, inks, etchings, linos, acrylics, pencils, graphite, wax crayon etcetc, most the stuff I keep 'forgetting' to upload. Just like a bloody tape drawing I was forced to do.
Absalutely tired so I probably haven't made as much sense as I'd like, but hey. Got another update. Not big but you can see what one print looks like when I've worked into it.
ack, those paints rock!! Love them![]()
i'm still irrevocably giddy about your works that include symmetry, fyi![]()
Hey there, thank you for the nice comment in my sb! I decided to stop by and see your sketches and I have to say that I'm really impressed with your work. Everything you draw and paint is so lively and expressive. I'll be subscribing to your sb to see your progress for sure.![]()
Ey, fellers. Back with some sps. Tried to do them at angles I'm not used to, so they look strange but I'll get the hang of them eventually.
Lav; Cheers, mate!
Mary-cherry-me: Aha! That's great to hear, because I love flipping things so bad. xD Don't think I'll stop that gimmick any time soon.
Elisele: Think nothing of it, mate! You've got some good stuff up so I couldn't resist commenting. And thank you for the kind words! My updates are frighteningly frequent so make sure you don't have it so you're allerted 10 times a day or something ghastly like that. xD

OH. MY. GOD. THAT. PRINT! THAT! PRINT!!!!
(I don't come every time you update, I would be here all the time and when would I draw, looking at weather forecasts if there will be sunshine after two weeks without it and the other stuff I do lately... So I've seen that just now.)
That print is, like, awesome. Featuring things I LOVE! A truly wonderful one. Great on so many levels. Yay. I would be happy to have your imagination but I guess I need to do the difficult way and trying to revive and improve mine. I know there's something hidden in me.
Thanks for making my evening. I will look at that for some while. Inspiring.
shiNIN: Ah and I have so many more to work on! Printmaking may just be my favourite subject of late. You just get so much out of it. I'm glad you like the prints! Hopefully I'll get better with this medium as I progress.
LtPlissken: Oi, you devious bugger! Don't go twisting what I say like that.
Not a big update today, but I found a photo of me from hop-tu-naa which popped up on facebook and gave me a laugh. I WAS SUCH A HAPPY LITTLE ZOMBIE.

Plissken, mate. You're going to have to tone down the creepy or I'm going to have to save up for a sex change.

Hi
The prints look great! Is nice to do something crafty I think is therapeutic.
What software are you using for painting digitally?
Ahhh, Rena! Glad you're liking the prints! Love printmaking, though I'm not much of a craft person. Can't make a paper cube, but I'm managing with maletts and slabs of metal. lol
Ohhh and that's done on some thing that came with the tablet. Uh. Artweaver?
Productive as ever. Your latest stuff is intriguing and quite unique. I like it a lot.
Ah cheers, mate! I'm glad you think so. I keep forgetting to post the big pictures I keep in college too, so there's still loads I need to stick up here. Just got some small sketches to spam and then I'm starting on the studies again.
Hey Naidy hows it goin? I like your update =)
your sketches are growing personality to them
looking forward to seeing more

cool updates! I envy your paints and colours :o
Camera's not working at the moment (needs charging) but I can spam some things I doodled for my Live journal entries. Finally made one as a dumping ground for anything to do with my story. These were mainly drawn to talk about what Shayle and Thain wear on their heads. Riveting stuff, no?
Replies:
OmertA: Och, thank you! It means a lot hearing that about my work.
Lav: Oh man, cheers mate! I think you have a great way with colours yourself, there's a lot I could learn about being more selective with my colour. Anways, cheers for the kind words!

*POP! A ^_^ appears, takes 5000000 damage from being so damn unfamiliar with existence here. The creature seems to make some barely comprehensible noise*
So much art & manly bonding to catch up onThe blood! love it! makes me want to paint some extremely f*cked peeps, gives a sense of reality like they've really been upto something. I really digged this one. And I especially adored ALL the Zombie workings, friggin wicked >_<!
Your form and paintings have improved very nicely. The printings are really great, I enjoy the texture & gritty'ishness of them. altho I see you still struggle occasionally on oddly angled faces, I think because they appear flatter when it happens, perhaps going over their form with slicing ovals could help decipher the mass, but I'm hardly one to talk of 2D lol :/ The slightly darker pencils are working well. Look'n forward to more
Also; I've missed exploding laughter over plisskens epic otaku comments, legendarily creepy stuff rite thar, keep it up.![]()

-[Ambidextrous in Training]-
Oh lordy lord. Been out to London with a load of people from college fer a week and the experience was crazy. Everything was so packed that a day felt like a week. There wasn't really enough time to get stuff drawn but I did manage a few sketches here and there. Mainly of classmates whilst we were all half dead on the tubes.
^_^: You. YOU! I thought you'd been swept away by the furious tides of the internet. Man, your comments always make me laugh at inapropriate moments. Otaku comments. Perfect summary, can't even lie.
And also, oh lord, you made yourself trudge though a fair lot of pages there, didn't you? Either way, cheers for the kind words and you're bang on about the faces, I've been noticing it myself but I'm going to make up time to squeeze in more face study times. EVERY MORNING. THERE WILL BE A FACE HERE. NO EXCUSES. None. No, really.
Ahh, after seeing so much in London I'm really going to kick it up a notch, maybe ten notches. I COULD DO SO MUCH BETTER IT IS UNREAL.
I really like your painting style
art is never finished, only abandoned~Leonardo da Vinci
Ezekrialase: Thank you! Hopefully I'll get a better hang for painting as I go on. I'm still never that happy with the outcome for most of them.
Ah, so I did do some studies, they came out exceptionally shit though, like the sort of bad where you wonder where your previous months of studies had gone from your head. No worries though, I think it's because I was still tired from the London trip.
Done some painting on top of that though, first one's buggered up so I won't post it here but the second turned into a happy accident. A mixture of me taking the photo whilst my hand slipped and my shoddy digital skills. I'll put the original sketch/painting above it so you can see the difference.
Oh, going to chuck some studies up here too because I have ink left over.
