Teen Challenge 86:: VOTING :: Dungeons & Dragons

Sorry about the daily Exams, 8 in one day kind of make me lose my mind a bit.

deerinheadlights:: (with some pretty sexy art for a deer in the headlight ;P No fear there)

Andrew Sonea:: (Sure as hell ain't gonna be suck anywhere with that dragon ;P)

Lightmode108:: (the lighting is good just remember to add the border next time and it'll add to the mood or maybe I am just getting you to add a border)

SeaShellis:: (Love the composition and the dragon's got just the right position)

Hunchback:: (Really he's hunchy, or munchy, I like munchy, one this for sure his artwork's defiantly munchy)

These comments keep me alive after brain meltdown so you will all have to suffer hahahah! ;P I promise i'll stop.... some day....

Voted for deerinheadlights and Hunchback. I thought both had a good sense of atmosphere.

Deerinheadlights: It looks good, but the dragon could be more "dragon-y". Right now it looks a little too peaceful and herbivorous for my taste.

lightmode108: You pulled off the two light sources, although I find the colour choice a bit too harsh right now. Also, I think it would be a good idea to use some reference on the skull to make it more realistic.

Seashellis: I like the approach, but I find right now there is too much that is either very dark or very light. It is looking a bit like and over exposed photo, and the dragon's head and the torch fight for attention.

Hunchback: I like yours a lot. I actually preferred some of the earlier sketches of it though. I think it looked cooler with the burning guy facing us, and right now it seems a little too desaturated. The first version was a little too colourful, but a balance between the two would have been good, especially for the fire.

8 exams in a day?! I don't even have 8 classes in a day D: Props to you for surviving that and making a poll.

Andrew Sonea: I really like all the values and your rendering, you could have overlayed some color on it though. Also the bg looks a little too dark and close, like the dragon might drag it's foot on the ground. Thanks for the crit

lightmode108: I second what Andrw said about the colors, the purple and green are very saturated and compete with eachother.

SeaShellis: I like what you did with the dragon coming out of the darkness. Maybe a little more midtones from reflected light would make it less "overexposed."

Hunchback: The firebreathing guys pose kinda throws me off, it looks like his leg is much closer to his arm than it should be, even considering perspective. Also, like Andrew said you could have made the fire brighter, since it's all pretty desaturated. I really like how the fire looks textured
