Hey Charmer, Very big improvements from the day you start. I scanned your earliest sketch posted here to the most recent. Personally, my favorite is the Madagascar girl from November 2011. I don't think you need more suggestions because you are already treading the right way hehe. Just keep it up and keep motivating yourself.

Hey Lanotdesign! Thank you very, very much for your comment. I really appreciate that! Have very much to do right now but of course I draw every day.
Recently I have done LOTS of pen and ink stuff. I freaking love it guys. Some Albrecht Durer studies etc, here are two of the examples![]()

I recently did some comic like figures of some of my friends and yeah... everythings going forward, two times a week life drawing which I will upload after I scanned everything which I will do next weekI didn't stop man, I will never stop drawing

This one took me about 6-7 hours completely. I am so bad drawing faces, even though I know the anatomy well I guess. I can draw them better on paper than paint them in Photoshop. Crazy thing. Lots and lots of updates following in the next few days guys, I've been doing a hell-lot of stuff recently!
Hab dein Skizzenbuch ganz aus den Augen verloren...
Anyways, nice updates.
I can point out some stuff on your last portrait.
- try to get more confident when it comes to the planes and form of the human head. You paint everything very smooth and the form gets lost very easily like that. Even with a hard brush you can make a face look female. try it out! ;-)
- More contrasts of hard and soft edges would also help
But still good improvement! Keep posting.
I'll also update my sketchbook soon but I've been messing a lot around with future forum stuff.
Sweet things are coming, haha.
Thanks dude! Yep, the thing is... I paint with a hard round brush almost all the time but I guess I'm going to smooth it too early when I struggle with some lighting/shading. Like here, I have problems with the eye on the right, the shadow is not correct at all and I tried it a bunch of times. But I'll continue this painting til I got that fixed.
Long time no post. Just working my ass off in other things but still learning to draw and paint better. Constantly practicing
Each about 30 minutes
One more of the 30 minutes heads, feels good to see improvement you tried like 100000 times to get
Here I focused more on the lips as you can clearly see

Delete your airbrush for a while sir! D:
The veeeeeeeeery soft look is taking a lot of the three dimensionality away. The facial forms get lost into the smooth transitions most of the times.
Also try to pick up Loomis book about Drawing the Head. He has a lot of great stuff that describe the planes of the head.
Will help you a lot to kick those paintings into the next level, hehe.
Keep it up!
Fuck the air brush! Haha.
Only round brush now. Hard edges, fixed size. Just opacity and flow through pressure. Another half hour or so
One more. About 45 minutes now with colour
Some more anatomy, 3 hours or so only tonight. Feels a lot easier to me, which feels instantly so AWESOME!
The pencil work was made some days ago and from mind, I guess I know alot better about guidelines etc now
