arrrg drew almost nothing these days.
arrrg drew almost nothing these days.
@ LtPlissken lol thanks!
working on that, and i randonly sketched megaman, sort of!
i almost fineshed the hammer guy ,but photoshop fucked up the file :< (probably due to fataly distracted human error)
more sketches
i fell like a cheated my way to making that lady looks finished, with the random flames and stuff ..meh ,i kinda like that though
and the other thing is just me out of ideas and just making a panterly doodley version of bluebaserker's charas http://blueberserker.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d23oz5p he is awesome btw
AND CUBES ARE AWESOME!!!
i gotta admit
it was the crotch shot in your thread thumbnail that had me click ;D
I really like your figures sketches, as well as your finished pieces.
It looks like you have a lot of fun with your work, which is really what matters.
Keep it up, and and never skimp on the studies.

You have made quite a lot of progress since you have started. Great job! The most recent blue lady painting came out very nice! The piece has a really nice focus with the lighting on her.
@a la bapsi i knew it would work hahaha!
thanks a bunch!! and i WON'T!
@Mooktar thanks! it was where i put more effort at
bunch of sketches ,the were-something lady was supposed to be just like the heavy hammer guy but female, but i got lazy and random ...oh man i need to work on my focus skills.
Very nice pencils!! Really great job. I notice some things with the perspective on some, like the one you posted latest, the dude with the hammer, the hammer and its handle looks a bit crooked. But that is very minor. Anyways, I look forward to seeing more of your stuff!
@alexson thanks!
and it is, i mean, i don't want this to sound like an excuse ,but the hammer is dull and croocky , i didn't even bothered to make the handle straignt or the hammer itself simetric becouse its heavy and its wood ,you know.
have more stuff to scan ,but this morning i just went and tried to animate something on photoshop ,but photoshop sucks for that ,there is not even a way (i guess) to check how much fps it is using
ANd it is aparently running much slower than it should, on chrome at least
I really like your pencil stuff, the coat of this beast in your previous posting looks great! Very nice... =)
@LastGen thanks bro!
some unfrendly folks i drew yesterday and today ,and that florest thing..well i'm trying
Awesome stuff man. I'm really digging your creature anatomy in some of these...that dragon in post #163 is interesting. The thick heavy proportions are great.
Artists have such a magnificent gift...breathing life into something with just simple lines.
The Sketchbook: Life through Line
@EBrown thanks, i'm glad it looks the way i wanted it to
exept for a few seconds after i finish something,i'll never be pround of anything ,and some digital stuff i get to the point it pretty much disgursts me ,mainly when i try to snap a character at a place.
something i don't hate to the point of hideing it![]()
i have been neglecting studies ,oh god ,forgive me!
D:
anyway...some sketches:
STOMIC CUBRA STRIKE!!!!
i don't like her face ...so i be not finishing![]()
Nice sketchbook you've got here i really like your characters and style.
I would suggest though to make your lines lil more fluid and cleaner.
Keep up with the great job.
Alex.
Open for commissions......just PM me.
@Fallenangel thanks
i find it that the more i work digital the more my pencil lines gets dirty D:
long time no posting D: i guess. i have stuff to scan (that i'll no)
and some digital files all named asdasdasdasd or something like that scatered around (that i'm to lasy to searchfor)
anyway ,finished (sort of)this right after watching joe vriens stream , i told Dave rapoza on his stream about it and he was also there , it was pretty neat !!
right right
inspirated by paul bonner + red dead redemption ost = that girl that will blow up that werewolf's(?) guy thing head with one bullet or something like that
lots of rendering to be done still
and a back ... no ref used exept for a mirror for some parts (what was quitte hard btw heh)
aahh so slow, hard and time consuming!!!!
Nice work! Love your looser pencil drawings. Especially the ones where you've pushed the perspective. The last piece is comming along nicely, but there are some problems with it. It's falling a bit flat in some places (like the girl's coat). And the fact that you're rendering everything equally makes the background far too active and it's fighting for attention with the foreground. Also, the girl's pose is a bit weird. Nobody can hold their arms like that and be comfortable. And her torso is too long and seems broken in the middle. Here's an overpaint that'll hopefully illustrate my point and give you some ideas.
I've changed the girl's pose a bit and made some elements recede in the background. Also, I've changed the cropping and tilted the horizon a bit.
Good luck and keep posting!
@Windmaker oh fucking crap i finished that before you even posted it. i wish i read that before !
about the coat i noticed that and changed a lil but still didn't pushed the values as you did ,sadly.
yeah i know the thing about rendering more what is the focus and shit but i still need to work on how to do that nicely.
and the arm over paint, yeah i didn't wanted it to looks confortable ,i don't know, i just wanted it to be dynamic like if she were twisting in mid air or something... (still i like it more the way you put her arm)
oh yeah i hate that torso ,i noticed her right arm would be covering her leg in that pose when i was almost finishing it.
thanks a fucking lot for the tips and stuff!
i posted the finished one http://holymane.deviantart.com/#/d33yvp2
i started hating it 30 seconds after i finished it anyway
and some pencil sketches to complet this post!
now i gotta finish a piece that made me get graphite all over the page :<
have you guys ever read a song of ice and fire epic saga??
no?? well you should!
today i read one of the side tales ,and it was so GOOD!!
and the main books are even better, you will hardly find another book with such well writen characters.
hbo is making a show so i recomend you to read it before !
tomorrow i'll start drawing the characters the way I picture em ,before the show cover my images D:
anyway here is something i spend my day on , some parts where surprisingly easy ,like the hude braid ,others, not so much ,the right arm holding the axe and all that area was quitte hard, making me get graphite everywhere ,i hate em it happens .
i tried to get some cool pespective there, but it was hard and i think i got some parts to look quitte dull
(a lot of parts actually)
god i suck
just trying for the first time to get something done for that megaman art book udon is doing ,no big hopes ,didn't got even near finishing ,but i'll try something better later
my art folder is a complet mess these days but here is some stuff i messed with this week .
got crazy over the light source on the black lady lots of work (well not really just some 2 hours) but it was pretty har still.
You have a nice attention to detail. Proportion is a key factor in improving your human drawings so practice more on that (life drawings).
@Drawallday
thanks , i will.
is there any way to write betwen images with the attachament manager thing?or at least put spaces betwen the pics?
anyway
some sketches and my new DA id by the end , inspired but joevriens streaming conscience stuff .
