I definitely like what I see here, but I would like for you to do something in the style of an old vector arcade game (examples: Asteroids, Cosmic Chasm, Spacewar, Quantum, etc.).

Some Studies and Sketches.
Aww dude, you've got some good stuff going on in here. I'm just starting to tap into vector graphics, are you working in illustrator or flash? I'll be keeping an eye on this one for sure.
It's nice to see someone with such a different style on here! Great vector pieces. I wouldn't even go within five feet of Illustrator that's for sure haha. I'm also fascinated that you sketch straight out in pen (no eraser?) Love the sketches of the bores and deer too!
Sketchbook ahoy!

Thank you Guys for all the Feed Back.
*FightingSeraph - The old vector games are pretty much just blocks. But maybe I can Spruce is up a bit.
*Metal Fingers - I am using adobe Illustrator. If you need any help (tips, tricks) I am happy to help.
*Cedarwolf22's - Vectors are so much fun once you get past the learning curve. And Yes it is straight pen no eraser. I really like using blue ball point pens for sketching. I will keep a red one close by as well.
hey, whats vector art?

Good Question Diarum - Vector line drawing is a super clean way of rendering images.
(using programs like Illustrator, corel draw, and 3D programs)
According to Wikipedia- Vector graphics is the use of geometrical primitives such as points, lines, curves, and shapes or polygon(s), which are all based on mathematical equations, to represent images in computer graphics.
Vector graphics formats are complementary to raster graphics, which is the representation of images as an array of pixels, as it is typically used for the representation of photographic images.[1] There are instances when working with vector tools and formats is the best practice, and instances when working with raster tools and formats is the best practice. There are times when both formats come together. An understanding of the advantages and limitations of each technology and the relationship between them is most likely to result in efficient and effective use of tools.
Today I went with something I little more fun. Enjoy![]()

Back from the weekend, nice and rested. I got some nice quality time with the family. Happy belated father's day to all the fathers.
I came a across on wikipedia all these obscure marvel characters that I couldn't resist playing with. I was working out a stylized version. Hopefully I can work out the kinks. Enjoy![]()

Some more sketches. I was reading a lot of Sandman while drawing these. I highly recommend the graphic novel if you haven't read it.
Quick post today. A-Bomb (who is the new Abomination in the Hulk Universe). I Will be gone till Monday. My 3 year Anniversary is today and I'm taking my wife on a mini vacation. Enjoy![]()
I find very interesting the bodytypes you choose to use on 46/ 48#. The idea of 3d man is awesome! Try to use not so flat colors for a change. Also, try to draw shadows in planes but without doing outlines for them and see how it goes. Keep up.
