I was wondering where I could get a decent pen/tablet. I've been using photoshop for awhile now and want to get into doing some realistic things with it. Anyone have any suggestions? That aren't too high in price?

I suggest starting small.. Bamboo tablets.. the 5x4" are not bad and relatively cheap. See if you dig it..
Geeks.com has a digipro tablet.. 6x8" on sale for about forty bones. The only draw back is the pen requires a battery.
8" x 6" DigiPro WP8060 USB Graphics Tablet w/Cordless Pen (Black)
Wacoms are probably the best, and as soon as I can get enough cash I am going to toss out the old one and get something bigger. THis is what I have now
You should also look through the Wacom folder in this very forum. It is dedicated to this topic and related tablet topics:

Tablets can have a difficult learning curve, but stick with it!
