    Smile Valley of the shadow of death

    Hi Folks!
    I just finished my new Digital Painting, I would like to improve it much more, but I have no time...

    It's based on the biblical Psalm 23:04:

    Even though I walk
    through the valley of the shadow of death,
    I will fear no evil,
    for You are with me;

    Entire painted using Photoshop CS3, no references used. Just the second piece entire from my mind...

    I'll appreciate constructive criticism from you all!!

    Thanks for your time!

    Looks like a perilous journey to be sure... I'd take the high road.
    Great Job! Love the gestural strokes you use... much energy! My only crit is that near the top (area with bridge & winged creatures) the darkness brings that area closer to you... lightening that area with a radial glow effect should set it back in space and create a more realistic arial perspective. imo.

    Again, love the energy and subtlety!

    So that's what the "valley of the shadow of death" looks like. Good to know!

    I like the spindly feel of this piece, with the narrow bridges, and dank feel overall.

    Nice! I would either loose the skull or do more of them, like a theme. Now it's almost distracting.
