Intuos2 Pen Internal Board Slips

Does anyone know how to take apart an Intuos2 pen so I can get access to the circuit board inside? Here's an article on how to do it for a Graphire pen, but my pen is constructed differently. It has thin seams running, lengthwise, on both sides of the pen. I suspect it's fused together.

I need to get inside there and secure the circuit board to stop this infernal slipping. Looking for suggestions. Replacement pens are $50 (ouch!) so I'm hoping to go the DIY rout.

The circuit board inside my Intuos2 pen is slipping up and down about 2-3cm and it's causing the nip and eraser to have some slippage or "give" to them. When I press the nib to the tablet, the nib goes into the pen body a few cm, then it stops and I can apply usable pressure. When I lift the pen up, the nib drops back down to it's normal place, then when I apply pressure again it slides back into the pen body are few cm. The pen functions perfectly, but this sliding is REALLY distracting when I'm trying to work. The tip used to sit firmly in the pen. I know it's due to the internal board slipping, because if I remove the grip and the side button I can see the board through some holes, and it's sliding along with the nib.

The folks at Wacom helped me out. Apparently I can pull my pen apart at the midpoint, the seam was just very well concealed so I didn't realize it. Anyway, I dropped a small bit of rubber band inside the pen and it works brilliantly again
