Your figures have such a good structure! From the start of the sketchbook, it's clear that you're thinking about stuff in 3D and the anatomy just keeps getting better and better.
~Twig: Thank you!
JamesSimons: Sonic boomtastic!
adamsimons: That's just silly!
Gthm/death: Thank you!
Valyavande: Thanks for enjoying!
smuli: Danke schön sir! it's nice to hear!
Didn't get as much done as usual, busy with a few other things/being lazy
I have decided/discovered that I need to spend more time on individual things instead of just getting them done!
It was eurovision last sunday(here that is) and I was challenged to do some portraits so I did a few in pencil and tried to do one in photoshop, one of the places I realised I need to take more time!
My attempted at painting a jedward(maybe John?)
Two quick Elvgren studies

Hey fool, the amount of work you've been cranking out is awesome, you're makin' me feel like a lazy sea slug. May i ask where you get your photo muscular reference? I've gone through bridgman and others many time now and the studies are all starting to look the same, i could use some branching out.
You're outa control, keep that fire burnin!
Great studies!post more works you keep on improving mate=)

You're the second person I've seen draw Jedward this week. Now I am over come with the urge to follow the trend. O_O IT'S DRAWING ME INNNN.
ALSO. Bloody hell, mate! Your figures. You do so many! You keep that up and in a few years your skills in drawing people are going to be terrifyingly good. So you better keep it up!
No crits this time, just keep it up as always.
Now, excuse me as I go pic out pictures of the jedward twins to draw...
cool stuff mate! Can't wait to see more ^_^
My observational skills may be great but i said nothing about my drawing skills

And I like also the frogs unbushing the foxes![]()
Australia has good taste then!
And more nice sketches as usual, the torsos and leg studies are lookin' damn fine
But hey, I'm greedy and I want to see more so update soon will ya? ;P
I like your sketchbook entries. Very comprehencive and deep. I like that you focus on understanding the shape and form, not just copying it. Overally nice linework. Maybe you should try some tone work if you're interested. You seem to get the hang of lines. Very loose and dynamic, I suppose if you focus on pencil technique, work on rendering through crosshatching and other grips of the pen, using the wide side of the lead. You can also try to lay down a tone and use the eraser as a drawing device - to draw light instead of shadow. Hope I was helpful.

Spent some time (most amount I've ever spent on one was half an hour) on a few master studies this week!
The Zorn was 5 hours, the Repin was 3 and a half hours and the Andrea Del Sarto was 4 hours, I got pretty lost with this one![]()
I also started on doing one hundred hands, got to 46 at the time of posting
Zorn,Repin,Andrea.

teapo: Thanks man, it's just a matter of time!
Didn't get a whole lot done in terms of volume but I've been working on a few things trying to get better taking my time to do it right instead of as fast as possible and hoping!
The start (7hours in) of my master study of one of my favourite paintings Gyula Benczur's The Baptism of Vajk (and gurneys post about him) I'm working from a bigger reproduction which I got from chiu stream which isn't up anymore for some reason.

Oooooh! You're a weekly updater! Christ, you'd think I'd have noticed by now. xD
Anyways, Those female figures your doing are really getting there, it's hard to look away from them, which is strange for a girl to say... damn it. People will start questioning my sexuality now. Oh, and I'm lovin' the hands.
Also- THOSE MASTER STUDIES. Yes. Just yes.
Keep up the good work as always, mate!
sweet! can't wait to see the Gyula master study progress~ looks very promising so far![]()
