    Hideyoshi: I like the third design more seems likes it able to go anywhere the culprit is able to go can't wait to c more details on ya design dude

    Trevor: I prefer the lighter colours on the first wip ya posted, it made the character's suit stand out, the second one seems like it has lost a lil purity because i felt the white face, gave it more definition where as the face on the second one looks lost in the whole image to be honest

    yeah i felt that too
    it will more than likely move back to white and i will also be popping more details out in white but thats kind of the last step i think
    im going to do my best to get an ortho in as well as an open cockpit view but that all depends on my weekend guests and how much they want to draw haha

    Mac user here. =]

    * PC users, Please keep in mind when choosing your colour palette that Mac's calibrate differently (monitor..) So, in other words, if you want for ALL to be able to view your art & its details as intended.. lighten or brighten things up - or find a happy mid-ground. (Don't go too dark in grey tones etc..)

    Marco Mazzoni,

    Umm.., only the torso of your WIP is really viewable on my Mac thus far.

    PC versus Mac calibration conversion issue going on here. =\

    Digging the multiple views of your WIPs. Seeing progression in my opinion, gives viewers a chance to like, hmm, well crawl into your thoughts/vision/concept. (But not in a creepy sorta way.)

    Much appreciated! =]

    GYAH! I knew my laptop was a little bright (monitor...) but seeing this at work is just painful. I did a quick levels adjustment to the image for now until I can get home and rework it.

    ...and yeah, like Trevor said, it's not a pc/mac thing as much as it is my shitty laptop

    Quick update with a flightsuit of sorts that will be under the hood. It's incharge of monitoring the officer, recycling the bodys waste, regulating the body temperature and administering a various cocktail of drugs as the situation may require to keep the officer alive and functioning in deep space.

    Amazing entries Trevor, Marco and Migsta, Inspiring stuff.

    Trevor: you're killing it with this one, man! The rendering and shape design is incredible. That torso/face area is too sexay!
    Marco: love it, always rock solid stuff from you!
    Migsta: nice finish, man! Love the holograph idea!

    Lol, how could you guys like No3 best? I liked that one the least
    Trying something else, not sure if I can finish. Deadline is close... yet this round is easily the best IDW since EVER!

    Trevor - that is awesome detail, very cool design as well.

    There are some other great concepts here too.

    I don't think I'll finish this fellow but I thought I'd add what I got so far. Special Tactics Unit anti armor suit, or something like that

    I've never posted any WIPs before so I guess it's about time.

    @Oren90

    Looks promising.

    @twentyone

    Cool. There’s some VF-1/Robo Cain thing going on here that I really like.

    @Marco Mazzoni

    Very nice. I know this was probably not the idea but I keep imagining it as a police suit for some zero gravity action.

    @trevot

    Sorry, man. Can’t comment. Too envious.

    @Migsta

    I always love too see concept art sporting some sleek line art . Great work.

    Of course, you can never go wrong with the holograph

    @resix

    Amazing design though it brings up an uncomfortable idea of alien made human vital point charts

    @Hideyoshi

    I’ve told you before what I think about your art and it’s an axiom.

    @Rezeroth

    Yeah, that’s what I’m talking about! The Predator on steroids!

    @Nutter

    Some day, someone has to tell me how do you people come up with this smooth mecha designs.

    @Bagg

    Heh… I always like cartoony twists of the subject. I always wanted to try one of those but I always get carried away. Nice work.

    @Xbert

    I really like this so far.

    This topic is freakin cool, I'll try and join in on the fun, always liked sci-fi. So many good entries so far!

    alive - Intresting suit, although it doesn't look much "police" right now. ANd I thing you could push the depth a bit with a bit darker shadows.

    twentyone - Haha really cool suit! Very brutish character of it, your universe must have some tough crooks if the police looks like that.

    Bagg - Sweet and funny design! What kind of environment is your universe set in? What kind of equipment will this suit have? Some things that can help you develop it.

    Nutter - Hope you'll finish it, because this looks very promising.

    Rezeroth - Awesome design! Looks a bit too military then police to me though. But what about military-police? Is that allowed?

    Hideyoshi - This is gonna be a big suit! I really love the colours you used in this. And tbh, I liked design no. 3 the most aswell, but this doesn't look wrong at all!

    Migsta - Hehe, Predator shoulder cannon? That thing is HUGE. The blue-print hologram really made the scene more alive. But since it is in what looks like an maintance hall, what about some people serving it or running around in the place? Like you did that person for size comparison. Just a suggestion. Oh and maybe you can try and blur the shadow a bit the furthest away from the suit, since it is so tall the shadow would have that effect.

    Trevor - Crazy good. You're too good at this lol.

    Here's my little police-suit, very WIP. I tried to think how the police would look like in about hundred years from now and having our current robotic and prostetic technology in mind. I really like the syntetich muscle things that are being developed right now, so I had to incorporate that into the suit (although my lack or mechanic-knowledge is also a cause, I am way more familiar with muscles and based the syntetic muscles on the different muscle groups.) Light and easily manouverable is the thought behind this design, and I also had Lamborgini police car in my head when making it.

    This one is just a more "common patrooling" police with riot gear options that can be attatched.

    Any critique or comments would be very appriciated.

    Holy crap crazy round The pressure is on me to come up with an even better topic for next week huh? I was planning on doing something for this myself but I had a family emergency unfortunately.

    For the record, this round will be open for at least 15 hours after I post this (around noon Sunday, GMT +2 Amsterdam time). Make sure to post your final entries in the Finals thread before that time!

    but if there where to much spaceships in the latest rounds (i personally think that there couldnt be enough spaceships ) it could also be "police motorcycle" or something like that

    this is as far as I take it, headache stops me from thinking straight...
    the design is pretty weak, what's with those tiny arms, lol. Indicating that a guy is sitting in it is all
