Cool style, the semi soft brush looks like a great way to practice. Feels like you're painting with watercolour at times.

hey Krytical_error> thanks for the compliment, but i honestly still think i am just a frog at the bottom of the well, trying to get out. What you have mentioned is a big fatal flaw of mine..i cant seem to finish a proper piece...But im working hard to try to doodle something everyday and everyday i feel i can paint faster! O well, the road to "there" is long and hard!In the meantime, im starting to re-enjoy and discover painting , much like when we all started out.

    here's today's practice:

The picture on this page seem to have a uniform style. I like the way you're using edge control and mostly dark palette with sharp highlights, gives your pictures a great sense of light but with a delicate touch. I love everything about the colored redhead sketch. You seem to be good with face anatomy too but some the poses of the figures on the last page seem stiff or out of balance. I suggest doing some gesture sketching from life or Posemaniacs. Keep up the good work!

Hey Smuli> thanks for the comment , i know myy characters poses are like so amazingly stiff i cant stand them myself! its a constant reminder to myself to remind myself to working on them! I have alot of fundemental flaws. In fact hands ,noses and postures are the few key areas i hope to improve on soon!

Looking good, I like the contrast in your images. Maybe a few more studies from life could help you out with some of the troubles you have anatomy-wise

Daaaaaaamn man, I love your black and white portraits. They've got such charm to them. How do you get your blending so smooth? I really suck at blending with digitals.
If you want to loosen up your figures, draw curvy lines. That curvy line is the spine of your character, and is the mood of his/her pose, all you have to do is just draw the rest of the body to fit that line. It's pretty helpful for loosening up.
    Keep it up man!
