Kungfoowiz> thanks mate, sometimes i just love the soft brush..its so easy its almost like a cheat code..But i seriously need to do something bout my anatomy its like awesomely crap.
sharp_cuttR> thanks man.. i hope to do something daily so i can hopefully improve... Seeing some of the work here, its just inspiring...
agro with the rim lighting, man. looks nice. skin has a soft render to it. your girls have a cool impish feeling. i'd like to see you put it all together in a full piece.
COME SEE ME!
-= and this is where i have my blahblahblog=-
hey Krytical_error> thanks for the compliment, but i honestly still think i am just a frog at the bottom of the well, trying to get out. What you have mentioned is a big fatal flaw of mine..i cant seem to finish a proper piece...But im working hard to try to doodle something everyday and everyday i feel i can paint faster! O well, the road to "there" is long and hard!In the meantime, im starting to re-enjoy and discover painting , much like when we all started out.
here's today's practice:
The picture on this page seem to have a uniform style. I like the way you're using edge control and mostly dark palette with sharp highlights, gives your pictures a great sense of light but with a delicate touch. I love everything about the colored redhead sketch. You seem to be good with face anatomy too but some the poses of the figures on the last page seem stiff or out of balance. I suggest doing some gesture sketching from life or Posemaniacs. Keep up the good work!
Hey Smuli> thanks for the comment , i know myy characters poses are like so amazingly stiff i cant stand them myself! its a constant reminder to myself to remind myself to working on them! I have alot of fundemental flaws. In fact hands ,noses and postures are the few key areas i hope to improve on soon!
Hey Monstertree> thanks! i really need to do some studies on anatomy!
In the mean time..here are today's doodles!
I like the painting of the girl from 12 october alot. More of those pls
hey Eew> thanks alot! those are my dark dark little thoughts swimming ard in my twisted little mind..i can only let them out when they want to..

wi2rd>Thanks Sir, you are too kind!
ole-x>thanks man.. im working hard on improving my stuff everytime i paint!
AndreRuben>Thanks! as this is for my own personal enjoyment sometimes its hard to keep the fire going with work and stuff..but i try my best!
hey Cgaddict> haha thanks! I kinda cannot stand the previous piece after i thought i was done with it....so i edited it..
Daaaaaaamn man, I love your black and white portraits. They've got such charm to them. How do you get your blending so smooth? I really suck at blending with digitals.
If you want to loosen up your figures, draw curvy lines. That curvy line is the spine of your character, and is the mood of his/her pose, all you have to do is just draw the rest of the body to fit that line. It's pretty helpful for loosening up.
Keep it up man!
Got distracted with a new ipad recently , heres back to painting! This is for a series of christmas cards thats going into print and up for sale!
