Sorry to be one year late, but fantastic lion head!
Sorry to be one year late, but fantastic lion head!
the first one started out as a good idea, but in the process of making it it turned into shit. And after spending like jillion hours on it, I gave up...I had a feeling that even one more minute spent on it would be just a complete waste of time.
The second one is my selfportrait.
accidental: thanks

didn't turn out as well as I had hoped, but nevermind I guess
haven't posted any pencils in a long time...time to change that! (darker corners and edges are because of bad lighting)
Heej, there are more and more people from SlovakiaLove your selfportrait from post #62. Pencils look cool mainly on head from last post. Girl's torso is too long and man's legs are too strong in comparison to his body, I think. Keep drawing.
caesar and my second acrylic painting ever...it's a study of a painting which my art teacher found somewhere on the net, but I have no idea who is its author
blu01: parada a to som myslel ze som tu samyeah, I think you may be right about the torso and the legs, thanks
Beards! from ref
haven't been online for about 2 weeks, time for a small update...these things are just sketches mostly, I think I didn't spend more than half an hour on any of them. I've also done like a ton of posemaniacs drawings which I won't spam here...and I'll add the digital pieces later
okay, so my new school has started...I'm studying architecture, but it's not really my kind of thing, so I'm not sure how long I'll stay there. I'm also not sure if I'll have enough time to paint and draw like I used to, but...I don't know, I guess I'll have to figure this whole situation out somehow...
anyway, here's some stuff
selfportrait
didnt have time to do anything besides study, so the update is a bit weak...
something I started today, wip
pff, finally done...would appreciate some comments, thanks guys

Great studies man, I really love your selfportrait, it's awesome! Go on, I want to see more of them.
One crti about that selfportrait. I think that the forehead is in the different angle than the rest, but it's only my thought, feel free to ignore it.
blu01:thanks! hm, you may be right...I always try to paint my forehead as quickly as possible, because I don't like reminding myself of the fact that I am slowly going bald
anyway, update
Your digital portraits are wonderfully vibrant, all the subtle hues really give them life. Thanks for stopping by my SB.
Xamllew: thanks
I always wanted to do a scene like this, took me past few days...it was a lot of fun, but I may have drowned it in too much detail, I'm not sure...
Would appreciate comments and critique, pleease
some knight
drawings
skull studies
love the painting on #78!
OoO that picture with skull knight is awesome, I like that! that part with soldiers on the right could be more defined and I miss some coherence/harmony? or something in picture, because the main hero looks like he was cut and pasted there.
As I can see you're doing skulls too, great.
Niam: thanks
blu01: hey, thanksyeah, I did it on purpose, wanted to emphasize somehow the fact that they are some kind of ghosts or spectral warriors
Well, small update...I feel like a complete failure, in past two weeks I haven't been able to come up with a single fucking painting, the time I spend painting feels like a complete waste of time since I cannot finish anytning, and I don't even see any improvement....
I'll have to figure this shit out somehow and do something about it...
Anyway, here are some crappy sketches...the last one is a wip, I started it a few months ago, but I really doubt I'll finish it someday, so here it is
beautiful sketchbook, glad to see someone else from slovakiathis dpaint is luxurious.

I LOVE the way you manipulate colors, and show such dramatic lighting! It adds a mysterious, and sometimes powerful atmosphere to the painting. owo

"I've learned in recent years, that even the most negative, and hateful of statements should be welcomed with open arms. After all, if someone is allowed to praise and compliment my work, and tell me how much they love the way I did ___, or ___ then why should I ever deny someone else the right to tell me that my work is awful, that I need to grasp the basics of anatomy/composition/originality/etc, and that I have FAR more to improve on?"
hey man, looks like you know exactly what you're doing! keep it up, your painting skills are already very good!
only thing that bothers me is when you start in black and white and then color on it, especially in #63, it just gives to it very unrealistic tones
but that kind of technique is used by almost everyone, so it's probably just me that will never like it![]()
eclip-se: hey, thanks
Jyskal: thank you very much
marcocasalvieri: most of the time I start in b&w, but that was my first enviro or how should i call it...so it really IS bad. And thanks
